Me too
Me too! i was just telling the story. I KNOW THAT. hello i said i know it should not have happened but, it did that time. Probably never will again like that. Dayum guys your killin me with this cry baby a** sh**. how many times do i have to agree that it should not have happened. he was right on my a** when he tucked in behind me but it didnt work that time @ that speed he didnt pull up on me. What more can i say. OK guys to make ya'll feel better. I nailed it 10 seconds before him he was in 6th gear riding backwards with his feet on the grips. i cheated and spit in his face before going. thats how it really went down. Is that more believable? Whatever you guys need to feel better and put someone down. Didnt mean to wad up any panties here. Just told a fluke happening. Sorry dont know what more i can do for ya'll. Peace out

No not really i just cant believe that ya'll have made such a stink over this story. Dont know what more i can do to apease the story telling gods. Actually i love a good arguement. Key word is good. People are arguing the obvious when i already said it should have went down different. But oh well.

an R1 tops out at 90 mph in first gear, so yeah, they are built for top end speed. you said aerodynamics plays a huge part which is true, but only after 135 mph or so. but power to weight ratio plays a bigger one. R1's pull low 10s in the quarter and can hit 150 in no time flat. either it was an older R1(the late 98's-01's) and or you two both started out in the wrong gear, cause you should have got spanked. good race though. after that spray, its should make an interesting race.

No way it was an R1. The slowest ones trap 140-141mph from what I have seen at the track. You would need another 150rwhp to stay close. No need to get defensive. The "facts" just do not add up.

your all crazy.
I know all of this. Ive said several things different. I have owned liter bikes and have passed people on the back wheel. I never said i owned a 600 from the dig. At a roll is different. The r1 pulled me twice and we then matched speed. I said already it shouldnt have happened. I know it shouldnt. And as far as my knowledge goes. I raced bikes and cars alike. From trophy footbrake cars to an IHRA top sportsman car. 2 Honda CBR 1100's 1 GXXER 1100 and a GXXER 1000. not to mention the numerous friends bikes i have ridden. I KNOW IT SHOULDNT HAVE HAPPENED AND TWICE IT DIDNT but, one time and once only i got in front and stayed end of story. You guys are ridiculous

Its cool
hey its cool guys. I wasnt looking for your approval. I was there. I saw me get yanked twice then i saw me get in front and stay there. wether he should have or not the last time he didnt. He was on my *** and thats where he stayed till about 150ish and we let out. I think we are all in agreeance that its not what should have happened. At any time anywhere it shouldnt have i never said i pulled away smoked him walked him or implied that it was anything different i toold the story just how it happened. so who gives a ****. **** happens guys ive seen crazier than that. We are all sayin the same thing you guys are just beating a dead horse. **** HAPPENS GET OVER IT AND YOURSELVES

You should have dropped down to third gear from a 60 roll and 2nd gear from a 40-45 roll. I think you would have you would of been in a better power band if you would have done that. Nice race!

I know i checked last night because of all the crap. i didnt look that nightbut from how it felt in third we had rolled up a bit and i was closer to around 55 ish when i hit it by the way the car felt. my car started making gud power around 3800 to 4000. Last night i checked at 3rd gear @ 45 3500 @ 52ish im right @3900 to 4000. We did roll out before stabbing it on the last one. I know it was crap hell he cud have just wanted to see how high we cud go. I let out cuz my escort beeped. It was fun. Thanx for the positive feedback

Good run.
I suprised myself racing an R6 in my 400ish-rwhp f-body. From a 90-95 roll up to 165mph (5th gear max'd out w/ 4.11's). The guy was tucked in behind his windshiled and looking back at me, his rear tire even with my bumper. I started to pull on him nearing the end of the race when he shut down. I still think he should have walked me, but I'm calling it a win.

I don't think that people are calling you a liar man. It's just that most of us on here know that bikes are in a different league. Like everyone says, anything can happen on the street, and it does quite often.
With all of this said I had a 02 CBR 954RR, I JUST got rid of it less than a month ago. If I was cruising at highway speeds and wanted to REALLY take off, like lets say from 70 mph, then I should definately drop to 2nd gear, cause 1st goes all the way to mid 80mph digits, 84-88, I can't remember for sure. But what do most riders do? They drop maybe one or two gears and these high revving bikes are left at the absolute bottom of the powerband.
This guy obviously sucked at riding, good job at making him feel stupid

I've now owned 2 r1's a 00 and my new 06 now my old r1 ran a best of 9.98 @144 with a slip on pipe being the only mod. My new R1 would totally destroy that bike. The top end pull is horrificly fantastic. Like was mentioned earlier If a car wants to play usually I'll kick it down a couple of gears now if the guy stays within sight thats when I'll click it down to 1st wich is good for about 90. The one thing being forgotten here in the aerodynamics debait is that Liter bikes are not 600's. They pull as hard at 150 as they do at 100. Funny thing on Saturday I got home from a ride on the bike and took out the camaro for a little spin. Actually raced a couple of newer gt's. I actually thought something was wrong with my car even though both races were *** whoopins. "car feels slow after being on the bike" The fact that the bike was blinged out leads me to believe you beat the rider. Real riders will spend money on go fast parts before bling parts. Not saying you did'nt win just don't expect to next time
