Dont talk smack! That only happens when there's danger to the manifold and you blow the welds on your intake. It wont happen if your smart and only use one bottle of nitrous!

The last time I looked there were no rules to street racing. If any of you have a rulebook, please pass on to me so I know for the future before I post any more info.
I apologize to everyone that I might have offended; I just thought racing was just about racing.

Or maybe one of these:
And of course following your supreme interlect it must logically mean one of these isn't a real GTO either :
Although in the case of the 2004+ GTO you may have a point as it's actually an Australian Holden Monaro.

Think the longest street race I've done has been over 15 miles.

When the light turned green, he got me off the line but that did last all that long, I passed him in about 100 feet. By the time I hit about 130, he was struggling to keep up. The funny thing was about 3 miles into the race he slowed down and turned off.
Guess he could talk a lot of **** but couldn't back it up.

True but at least the GTO comes with GTO badges...its like the tools who put the fairlady badge on their 350z's because thats what they are called overseas...

Don't know if anyone is still interested in the story but I had a 94 Stealth Twin Turbo which are the same drivetrain and power as the VR4 and they are quick cars. With the all-wheel-drive launch the VR4 would be ahead until about 80 or 90 if the LS1 is on street tires. After the LS1 gets rolling it would pass the VR4 up top. If the Stealth and VR4 could drop a few hundred pounds and still keep the 320 hp it might be a different story. My $.02

In a handling test several years back it came last and was commented as being "horrible" and "just plain awful" to drive.

Hahaha man im just busting your *****, I hear ya about the long races where you just get to mess around for a long strech of road. Good kill and the 3000gt vr-4's are nice but I think they are really limited by their weight and the stock turbos. Kid at my grad school had a 99 vr-4, beautiful car with on 22K miles on it, and he ran my z28 when it only had a LM catback and Lid and I got him by about 5 cars up to 120 mph. He didnt launch that hard though and kinda bogged so im sure a good driver could have done better but they are def quick cars in stock form.
