93-vr4+transam

I know this is an old post. but I owned a 93' vr4 with the only mods, was the boost mod, an extra 20hp. and exhaust, and cai. I don't know how the vr4 was struggling to keep up at 130mph. I had mine to 155 a couple of times. I was in my vr4, and had my buddy in my 93' trans am. intake/exhaust stall and 373's. at the time. and it took him to about 80-90 by the time he started to come around me, I had about 6 cars on my ta off the line. but the ta did come around me. so I sold the vr4 and bought h/c and alot of other mods for the ta. but man I do miss the vr4. it had some gearing, could come out of second at 70mph. and 3rd. around 105-110mph...

Ok here it is from a VR-4 Owner. I have a 1995 VR-4 with 6spd manual and AWS. So yes you can get both in the Mitsu. these cars are fast fun and handle like no body's business. in 5th gear at 2800 RPM's if I put it to the floor that car is going to the moon. while your still sitting an spinning ill dump the clutch at 8 grand and lunge off the line these cars are the *****. Not to mention a VR-4 is much harder to come by than a tranny or camaro. Someone else mentioned it earlier, NO TURBO LAG!!

P.S. I am putting GTO badges on mine as well.

Wow. I know this thread is 5 years old and all but this thread is pathetic. I dont wanna sound like a dick but the amount of ignorance and mis information is rediculous. Is this really the typical standard of the modern car enthusiast? Damn i wish i was into the car scene 5 years ago, i would of made alot of money if the typical f body & mitsu owner knew as much about their own car as well as the competitions as ive been shown in this thread. i hope things have improved since this thread
