LoL put ur pants back on. I said my srt-4 was stock and outran many GTP's never said it was fast. That would be you saying its fast thanks for the compliment... nonetheless i dont have that car no more

Don't do it, the limburger has a shitty warranty and gets heat soaked to easy.

I have a 00 GTP and run a 12.436 @110MPH with a 1.8 60ft on M/T DR's.
I have raced quite a few cars in my time and have had many victories as well as had my *** handed to me.

Like everyone has stated already, you dont know his mods, so you dont know his capability. You might win, you might lose. If he has a 3.0 pulley or smaller, then be prepaired to pay some cash. If his pulley looks like the size of a spare tire, then you stand a good chance.

I know that in my car, you wont stand a chance at a 40 roll.... On a dig, you would out launch me but dont get used to it, because I would catch you quickly. Oh, and an oil change will not make you faster..... You have a better chance of strapping a hunk of cheese to your hood and going faster then having your oil make you faster.
Damn, settle down there speedracer!, Hey you need to head over to the military club. We are trying to set up a get together next weekend.....

My SS will cut a 2.0 60' with the TCS on and street tires. Best I got off the street tires was a 1.9.

You guys are giving too much props to the GTP's. You are "bench racing" Heavily moded GTP's against a stock A4 LS1.

*pops head in* If you spend $1000 in the right places, it's very easy to get a GTP into the mid 13s. If you spend $2000, high 12's. If you spend enough to get a turbo, you can run whatever FWD will let you.

*pops back*

yeah one of my buddies is building his.... bolt ons, internals, trans you name it. a speed shop that took a look at it is sayin 11's no problem and maybe if its a nice day MAYBE see high high 10's.. this has no nitrous too. dont think just because its a gtp its slow.. you can make any car fast as long as you have money... find out more or just take the gamble if your that confident

but dont change the filter, that will yield negative results if swapped with a fresh one on both oil changes. Make sure your bearings in your mufflers are good too and they dont squeek or rattle. And take the $100 with you.

Has this ****** raced yet? He probably lost and wont show face.

See sig for my cars. The GTP made that run with 2 blown head gaskets. It has a 1.72 60ft time on QTP's. Also uses the stock supercharger(ported) and NO nitrous or any additional power adder. On the weekends we go to car shows with 3 car seats in the back

2.0's suck on street tires but the best you got was a 1.9 lol. And yeah a modded GTP against a stock A4 LS1 what's your point, i posted that to compare a modded GTP to an LS1. And my GTP was FAR from heavily modded lol it had $1500 in mods.

Your the one that brought up GTP's couldn't touch you when your SS was stock so i posted my GTP vs. our stock TA. Would you like me to mod the GTP again the way it was before an go run a stock M6 TA would that make you feel better? Or would you bring up the fact the GTP was modded an the TA isn't, makes you sound like a little 16y/o honda owner. What's the next thing your gonna say the GTP is supercharged put a supercharger on the TA and see what happens

I feel for you. I had a '97 GTP that I running mid 12's that got totalled by some woman in a POS Maxima. I replaced it with a '99 GTP that was well on its way to running low 12's when it mysterily caught fire and burnt to the ground. I figured God was trying to tell me something, so I got out of Grand Prixs and bought a WS6. So far... no fires.

I have seen a lot of them at the track, ported blowers, smaller pully's, intercoolers, full exhaust and still 13 sec cars.

Like they said any car can be made to go fast. Like the 240sx I talked about. Just don't see all the **** about GTP's being a fast car. Great mommy car. But fast?

Way I see it, depending how (if) this kids gonna race the GTP the GTP will tach out at a measly 135 mph, plain and simple. I walked my buddies GTP in my Talon, but all he had was some "custom air intake" Point is, the 4 sp in the GTP will top out below 140 period. Doesn't matter how much horsepower it has, horsepower doesn't "stretch gears". BUT most people won't race to top speed lol...and some people just plain WON'T RACE

Just to be sure, race this smartass from a dig. If he is making power, he's not gonna be able to use it in a FWD car out of the hole.
