i can believe if your at a high elevation then becasue the cars don't run the same. By chance does your friend have a silver ss.

went 13.66 at 102mph in my auto ls1 way back when it was stock...2 years or so ago...

went 10.8 at 126mph in the '88 cause the car is set up for 1/8th mile....was letting up and gettin back on it near 3/4 mark of the track
5.00s in the rear and a 2 speed powerglide dont like the 1320 too much.

wow nice times, average for the ls1 trap still seems to be there though only a few mph short. The high elevation should hurt your car more though because its n/a not supercharged thats why i can't understand why the cobalt is trapping so low. How much boost does he push 10.5 or 11 psi?
