Default Bitten!

I live in Orlando FL. and see tons of nice cars on a regular basis, but how often I get to race them is another story. Approaching a light to make a right turn onto the on Ramp for I-4 I notice the unmistakable headlights of a Mustang in my rear view mirror. I look at the lights on it again and wonder just for a second if it's a Cobra or not. I take a guess in my mind and say GT.
Now mind you I am having lots of problems with my cars TRANS. and computer right now, but enough excuses, I just decide to give it hell when we take the right. I stop at the red light, all clear. Start taking my right turn and decide I am going to leave this GT in the dust. I punch it and hope for the best for my car. Now let me remind you that I have just taken my right turn and floored it before this Mustang has even begun to roll. The Mustang finally comes around the turn and guns it! I soon realize that my inferrior Brain has made the wrong guess at what car I was messing with . The COBRA Blows by me like I am a ricer stuck in neutral . LOL I couldn't believe my eyes. Even if my TRANS. was working perfectly he would have Raped my ANUS! I finally catch up and Give him a HUGE thumbs up and ask what he has done. He explains that he has 500+RWHP and says he has a pulley and some other normal mods for a Cobra. He was the coolest guy and cruised next to me untill my exit came. He enjoyed my car and gave me a thumbs up as well. I have been Bitten for the first time and shall never have a better first loss in the rest of my life.

LOL allmost exactly same thing happened to me, came up on a mustang in the dark and tht: hmm GTand put it in third at about 65 and paced him. All of a sudden he drops and hammers down hard. I hear the unmistakable whine of a supercharger and was like WTF? This GT has a fn supercharger!! Turns out it was an 04 Cobra!!! Caught with my pants down all I could do was flat foot 3rd and pray. Luckily all he had was a tune and cai so I only lost by about a car length. (I actually started pulling him at the end of 5th). It was def. a cool race and we pulled over at the next exit and talked cars for at least an half hour. Real cool guy and one hell of a car.

Nice death. It's nice to have a race w/ someone that's cool as opposed to the typical d_ckheads that do a thumbs down or a flyby after they get beat. Even better is when you kick someone's @ss and then they flyby and put their hazzards on...that's some funny sh_t.

Good death. Atleast he was a cool guy. You have more than enough potential in the T/A just start modding, youd be surprised with what LS1's are capable of.

Cool story. honorable death. Glad to hear the cobra driver upheld his car with some respect. Get your car right, then get a little cool gas and you won't have to worry as much about making the correct GT/cobra call.

Them things are pretty wicked. What psi do they put out stock anyways? I rode in an '04 and it was 14-15, he brought us to 160 mph pretty easily and quickly. He wouldn't say or didn't know much, but I knew I had nothing for him. Had a filter or CAI, do you need a pulley to get 14-15 psi?

Yes, and there are dif size pulleys starting at 2.76 (Lowest and most boost) to a 3. something. 03 cobras kinda showed boost and DOHC is the way of the future in some aspects. but around here, seems like thats rice LOL.
