Me (01 Camaro SS) vs Turbo Nissan 300zx Well my friends wanted me to come to this street racing meet.. We got there at like 10:30 and waited 30 minutes for the other cars to get there, he had told me it was going to be a bunch of ricers, maybe a few turbo civics, etc.
At 11:00 EXACTLY, me and my girlfriend look up and here comes lines and lines of cars.. ******* fast and furious **** and i'm not even joking with you guys, we started cracking up at these cars.. primer cars.. fake intercoolers, fake turbos, fake blowoff valves.. huge wings.. Hell there was even a 350Z with dual fart cans. THIS IS MY ******* DREAM.. 1000 RICERS IN 1 PARKING LOT AND I GET TO RACE ALL NIGHT. OH, WAIT MY GIRLFRIEND IS 18 AND STILL HAS A CONFUE? SHE HAS TO BE HOME AT 12 AND IT'S 11 NOW? WTF?
Anyways, back to the story..
I only got to race 2 people, the first of which was a civic with just exhaust...
ok needless to say, even though i was sideways half way down the strip, i will beat him by a few buss lengths.
Next up was the $100 race that this guy purposed to me. I didn't have $100, or even $20 for that matter, but i just said i did hoping that i wouldn't lose.
The guy pulls up, and THE FIRST CAR with a REAL turbo.. omg! Nissan 300zx, no clue what year, sounded like a fart can with a blowoff valve..
Anyways, this street sucks so i decided to leave traction control on so what happened in this first race didn't happen again.
The guy starting the race holds his arms up for like 30 seconds, and the **** was really getting annoying.. The race started, traction control actually helped off the line, but when my car was about to start spinning and i couldn't press the pedal down because of that.. it was a little annoying. Anyways, i got him from the dig, kept the lead all the way until the end of the street (measured 1/4 mile exactly).
Beat him by 4-5 cars easily, collected my $100, took my girlfriend home, and now i'm about to go to bed.
Goodnight fellow racers.

I'm sure i could've gotten my *** kicked, there was a lot of asian people there that looked like "gangsters" from a racing team called "prodigy".
There was someone i wanted to race but didn't get a chance to.. a 350Z with only CAI and exhaust.. and full body work.. would i have won? I don't know much about the 350Z's, but it didn't have a turbo or anything.

A fake turbo is one of those things you add to your exhaust to make it sound like a blowoff valve, a fake intercooler is when someone cuts into their front bunper and adds an aftermarket radiator to look like an intercooler, or just puts a fake one in front of there radiator to make it look like they have a supercharger. By fake.. i mean fake..

Ditto on the racing for money without the money. I've heard of people getting shot for that. In any event good kill. Some of those 300ZX TT's you gotta watch out for. Also don't always assume that cause a car is primered that it is a **** pile. I saw a Civic that looked like a complete joke (Rust on the body, dents, skinny drag radials up front). Car was pumping out 400fwhp with a gutted interior. Took my buddies turbocharged Z28 from a roll (Though it probably would've been closer had my buddy started in the right gear).

300ZX TTs aren't the best from a dig, but watch out for the top end.........especially if it's modded at all. A little $ and they're almost at 400hp (330rwhp)..............

they can move good, there just really tricky to launch.
sounds like you ran into a bunch of ricers, so no wonder you yanked that 300zx, but watch for the modded ones that real car enthuiest own. my car right now at stage 3 would probly is rated at 400hp. like mentioned by another person. they respond very well to mods and are pretty quick once moving.
good kills though, i love beating up on the ricers.

it was optional from the factory.. not every car has it.
i never use it unless its raining or slick on the roads.. it makes the car handle kinda funny in my opinion.

By the way, somone raced one of our cars onces with no money with him and it was a locked in race and he lost.
He was missing a Mirror and a window, so thats how we got paid
