There was a guy at mustang week in Myrtle Beach that had a yellow cobra and ran 205 i think it was on the Salt Flats...had the moon-looking wheel covers and at least a pulley but the suspension was stock as i recall.

I wouldn't doubt it. This was a mystic covertible cobra and it was much more stable at high speed than my buddys f-body.

I think at 55mph I am at idle...actually about 1000rpm. I have the stock 3.42 gear though.

I think you've got enough power for sure to make it there...(200mph).

I never had a problem in my cobra that I had. I had full R model suspension, and I was impressed with the stability. Ofcourse, in that car, I had no real power, since it was at the dealership every other month, and I was already having problems with warranty. I don't think I topped 160mph.

But, I think I had half your power....maybe even less then that.

I was just browsing through a several year old 'stang Magazine today
and I noticed that a Cobra went 203mph so it's been done...and probably
faster since then. That particular car made 614rwhp with a Whipple.

I think I have enough power, but not the gearing, suspension, aerodynamics, or the stupidity!

Back when I had my cobra, there was a dude, something buchema, or something weird like that/ He had a black 94 to 98 bodied cobra...(sn-95)....and he, I belive hit 2 bills, maybe even more. I don't know the power numberbut, it was there. He had a custom chin spoiler, that didn't look to hip but, function over form. It also had a fulll griggs setup.

the suspension alone was probably ten grand. Which, i'd imagine, would be sick in a mustang.

Great video. That first run you pulled him by 1/2 a car of so then going into 6th he pulled and walked. What the ****. I thought for sure you had the Mercedes Benz Tank. Great races.

As the camera man you can hear me gettin a little nervous. Lol I'll admit it. I dont get comfortable with people till I've driven with them a while (yah know and get to trust their abilities) and this was absolutly the first time I had been in this kids car much less while he was racing. Plus he was doing some **** I just wouldent do. While racing doing 160+ there were a couple hills on the road we were on and right before going over them you couldent see 30 feet in front of you so if anything was in our way on the other side of that hill we woulda obliterated it. Then after all that he took one of the sharpest off ramps on that road at somewhere between 100 and 120.. I'll tell yah I have a new respect for those cobras when it comes to handling. He had on the falken 615s and let me tell you those tires are nasty in the corners, they must be because goin into that corner I didnt think we were gonna be on the road anymore mid corner. They say those tires are the closest to an R compound you can get on the street and I believe it.

Working like a slave. Should be around $111,000 for the year come payday. Gotta love the OT. Bank account is getting fatter every 2 weeks. If anything goes wrong with the new headgasket install and I find internal engine damage......I am going with more cubes for sure. Shoot me an email bro. Later..

i rav vs the AMG SL 65 WHICH is a beast. the fastest stock auto production car. and it can run with a 06 z06 stock for stock. an AMG SL 65 ran 11.2@122 stock


i was on I-24 towards nashville and seen him coming up behind me. i took off first and he put 489573947 cars on me fairly quick lol.

the amg's are nothing to take lightly.
