Probably true. When I goto the show this week Im anxious to hear what kind of bs comes out of his mouth this time. I will be sure to let everyone know lol. I had a friend who talked about having a friend in high school who "pinked" for cars and won 6 of them. He had to "give them away" because he couldn't afford the insurance on them.
BTW he said the kid had 2 Vipers in the group of 6.
Oh yeah, I remember he also said he knows a place where you can buy a Saleen and pay it off in one night....

I remember seeing a video on youtube or ebaums where they filmed a guy saying that his mustang (GTR, special edition) was running around 7's in the quarter. he also said that he had it turbocharged, supercharged, IC, with forged internals. he then followed it up to say he had a rotary motor! any one seen it?
get a video of him feeding you all that bullshit, and then just annihilate him on the street!

my story isnt as good as most of the ones you guys just posted but see if this sounds right.....
guy i used to work with had a lightning. he had a flowmaster cat back and a new valve body. he told me (right before i went to the track for the first time) that stock lightnings ran like 13.9 or so. i told him the next day that i ran 13.5 at 106 and he proceeded to talk **** like his truck was so much faster. he then told me that he could probably get a 12 out of it??? with a catback and a valve body that made it shift harder???? wtf? did it just get faster overnite?

Yeah, it's so hard to deal with people who just bullshit to the end, especially when you work with them. One of my favorites if the people who talk about thier top speeds... in cars that can't even touch those speeds. One person I worked with mentioned some race about how it was close, until the speed limiter stopped the other car(a camaro at that.."with s's on it") at 150..I think she said she kept goin to 170 before she realized how bad she beat him. This is in a 2004ish EX civic(127 hp). Of course when I suggested that even if she DID have a billion horsepower, her car couldn't hit 170, she mentioned the ol'e magical "chip".

Gary, you should have told him that you have an LT1 with 98-02 body panels and then he would have raced you. And when you destroy him you could have said that you have 3 gorilla "intake chips" and custom "streched" doorlocks streched to 1.6" diameter and that your making 9,000 HP with your current setup.
