Pshhhh i got u all beat... i went from an 85 buick skylark (less than 100 hp) to my 98 formy m6.... there are no words to describe the feeling of gunning it on that 95 onramp for the first time... Lets just say i needed a change of clothes afterwards... Now i want something faster than my gixxr 600, lol.

Nothing beats the low rpm power from a new 1000, especially if you've never ridden one...time to trade in the 'ole 600.

 

my first car was a 95 Civic DX with the 1.5 liter. I only drove it to save up for my SS. That was quite a change. Scared the **** out of myself when I test drove it.

 

In the same general vane... I had a new Mustang GT owner tell me after I pulled up to a gas pump; "Just because your car sounds like that doesn't mean it is fast! My new Mustang with exhaust will eat you alive!"

I just said "Sure thing buddy..."

 

I just don't understand why people that don't know what they're talking about actually say crap like this. I mean if I didn't know crap about cars (like this GT owner) then I wouldn't go around claiming I could beat another V8 RWD car when all I have is exhaust

i mean "most" mustang owners i have met all have the same attitude on cockyness towards every other car out there. However i did race 2 very cool young guys in a 01 mustang GT with every bolt on and smoked them repeatedly over and over then they were cool enough to pull off the road and talk to me about my car. Ironic thing was you shoulda saw their face when it was a V6...too bad i didnt have a camera cause they thought i had a LS1 on Nitrous


as far as spool with the MP t70 on my 3.8....its pretty good. The hotside is .69 so i see 9 psi at about 3000 rpms...1st gear i only see like 5 psi tho cause i have 3.73's. Those will be going next year tho

lol i wish yall could be with me in my esapades in my Grand Prix GXP before i traded it. i was stock and beating the new 05+ mustangs. i was running 13.9@102 stock and they were all running 14.2s around 101.

mustang owners are a wierd breed.

 

first car was an 88 honda accord....then an 84 Jeep CJ& now my 03 mustang...

and theres just as many cocky fbody guys out there as there are Mustang guys....
