Lincoln LS slaughtered!!!
Monday night was coming home from the shop and when I approached the last light before going to my house I was in the left hand lane and this lincoln was in the right. I needed to be in the right hand lane, but figured since this was a lincoln ( assumed to grandma ) I eased off the clutch on green shifting slow and was just about to move over when this damn lincoln comes running up on me hard and fast and was at my passenger door. I was at about 40mph and slammed it back into 2nd and dropped the hammer. The lincoln literally looked as if it just put on the brakes. I instantly put about 2 cars on it then I hit 3rd and couldn't tell how many lengths because of those small mirrors, but if I had to guess I would say about 6 lengths and still pulling. I had been wanting to try these new gears out and at least the Lincoln LS is V8 car. I guess grandma's been keeping up with the times.

This is funny stuff...
We have a 2006 Lincoln LS, it is a V8 as that is all they offered for the 2006 model year. The car is not brutal fast, but for a V8 with 280 hp and 5 speed auto it is quick. It is fun to put it into sport shift mode and spin the tires shifting between gears. I bought this ours for my wife this year, got the silver with black interior.
All you haters on here talking trash about it, ride in one. They ride awesome, handle very well and have plent of get up and go for a daily driver. Plus how many peeps can afford a $40k+ car on here?

I was really suprised by the car once I drove it some on how well it handles. We did not even get the optional handling assistance pkg and this thing still rides like it is on rails.
i was even more suprised to find out it only weighs like 3700 pounds compared to my 01 Formula that weighs around 3400 pounds.
Only thing that really sucks about them is their forums suck, there is no real following for them on the web. I am wanting to mod ours some, I removed the intake resonance baffle from ours, though about maybe getting a intake kit and a cat back for it next year. They dont have alot of mods due to the motor being a Jag sourced motor but still can get into the upper 200's in rwhp with intake and exhaust.
