Default NOS is bad!

Yesterday I raced a classmates Honda hatch on NAWZ! with my 2002 Z28 M6.. I beat him the first race. So we went again to make a 2nd run. I honked 3 times and I ook off,, at the end of 3rd gear I looked back and saw smoke come out of the honda

He blew his engine. He was squeezing a 135 shot on a single cam Honda 4 cyl. Be blew a hole in his block and it barfed oil everywhere.

the end.

Ill have pics later

135 shot? does the engine itself make that much to begin with?

The guy is in my class, it is a single cam. Despite me not really being a fan of hondas, he is a classmate, I stayed with him til the tow truck came.

Well because hes your friend that really sucks....but you should have explained to him that to run NAWZZZZZ on a honda you have to have all the supporting parts..Duh

1. As MANY stickers as you can possibly get on the damn car!
2. NOS floor mats
3. NOS seat belt harnesses
4. NOS seat covers (front.. and the back..just incase)
5. Flame shift **** (auto or manual...its a must)
6. Euro lights
7. And the LAST and most important...the infamous NOS steering wheel cover!!!

i agree. what is NOS without the NOS floor mats? those civics have some serious restriction without all those supporting mods.

sweet kill and i hope to see more like this in the future!

More like a 405 shot on an LS1. Mine made 375 at the crank, and since most n2o ratings are NOT whp ratings....well....780 hp would be pushing an stock internal LS1 into an early grave.

he should have paid attention to his "DANGER TO MANIFOLD" alert
on his data acquisition pc when it went it off instead of slammin it shut
