ok this is kinda a branch of last post about somone saying they 720 rwp on a stock botom end ls1 with just a vortech and a 250 shot and ran a 9.2 at our local cruise spot. so my question is what is the most out landish off the wall bs story someone has ever told you bout there car? like shes bone stock but she ran a 10 must be a mix up at the factory. that kinda thing

 

I can't think of anything happening to me off the top of my head, but my friend (2000 Mustang GT 500 RWHP) raced a Supra that claimed to have 700+ HP. After my buddy blew his doors in by bus lengths, this guy had the nerve to tell him "Oh, well, the tune I have will only let me shift at 4k, but if I had my car tuned, I would kill you." How ignorant can someone be??? LOL

Had a guy say his dad's mid '80's 3/4 ton work truck powered by a chevy 454 could break the tires loose at 35 mph while carrying a 500 pound sander in the bed.
Also had a waitress tell me her boyfriends Saturn Ion ran 11's stock.
If the sand truck could take care of it's traction issue's it would be a helluva race between the two.

 

I have a customer at work that says his 6 Cyl. firebird has 350 HP.....cause it was made in Canada and has a different ECU....and he put an aftermarket chip on top of that, so that gave him 350HP.

 

There is a guy at my school that sais his friend's cummins truck runs 6s at the track.

 

6s on the 0-100' maybe.

 

Today i got my package in the mail, an this guy in my unit asks me what it was, I say "camshaft" an he's like "oh you ready?" i was like ready for what? "to take on my Grand Marquis out there" I was like "what?" an he's like i got a V8--I just shook my head an walked away,

I was at a gas station filling up when I saw a riced out 04 GT convertable with aftermarket exhaust and rims a couple pumps over. He had those cheap T.V.s hanging off his front seats by some straps(that he probably engineered himself) and hanging off his sunvisors(two wasn't enough). Also he had a giant wing and a gay body kit . When I was done pumpping gas and leaving he jumps in his car and revs it at me. I rev back and he takes off in front of me. I follow and close in on him very easily. I get next to him and we get stopped at a light, I ask what do you run at the track? He replies 10.11. I'm like what was your trap speed? He says he can't remember. I ask what is done to his car and he says a 250 shot of NAWZ! Needless to say he wouldn't run me and I even told him he could turn his NAWZ on!

 

this stuff is good. best ive had was an 88 monte carlo ss that did 8s in the 1/2 mile with 430 hpwe WTF? ive never even heard of a half mile track just 1/8s and 1/4s
