Guess what rice-a-jabronie, a car DOES NOT have to have a "Lee Trevino's hat" emblem on it in order to be "reliable". TOYota does not corner the market on reliablity, f***tard (sorry unit, I could not resist!)!!
My Z28 has had the living **** beaten out of it from day one. It now has 100K HARD miles on it, with NO problems, just routine maintenance, runs fine (mid 12s with MINOR bolt ons, i.e.; NOT even headers) and still gets >30 mpg on the highway.
If you feel you must bash GM/domestics while praising your Nippon "masterpiece", maybe you should go over to bobistheoilguy.com. They will welcome you with open arms, and believe all of your !

Wow, I've yet to hear of a hard driven turbo'd IS300 that doesnt have 25K sunk into drivetrain. Those trans pop at 350whp if its a manual, and adding slicks doesnt help that fact. Not only that, they would need a completely new rear, turbo supra one, a super stout engine block if using from the 2jz-ge(this would require serious tooling on it) instead of 2jzgte, either way, serious coin.
bs flag big time.

I think that a tt IS300 would be a great sleeper.

I have enough experience with tt supras and your story just has too many holes unless you were the one with the 100 shot and the stall. The ls1 would easily win out of the hole unless it had some serious tuning problems. It's great to dream, but now it's time to wake up and realize you don't have a 20k+ IS with 15k+ in motor/tranny swap. Go back to playing nintendo and leave us alone.

honestly i think lexus knew how DUMB their drivers are i mean look they have to make cars that can park themselves....... no trust in the people who buy their cars ahah

anyhow. even if this was true. which why would someone BUY A SUPRA ENGINE AND PUT IT INTO A HEAVIER SLOWER CAR?.......................................
lexus motors are nothing special. their are 1000hp 2.0 ecotec engines. so i dont wanna hear about a lexus engine reaching 1000hp. who cares. and actually. a 500 rwhp ls1 is still Well abover average fast on the street. i think some of these people read these forums and think their are 495820857024857039 races going on right down their street. their really is no comparison. their are alot more stock to semi stock cars vs cars decently modified. heck a stock ls1 8-10 races your gonna win a race on the street most likely unless you just happen to be in a small area with alot of modified cars. so to say a 500 whp ls1 isnt fast on the street anymore... you really
