honestly he must have been a sucky driver.....I had an 04 Which is the same body style as those ones and they had bascially the same turbo/motor combo also. I had simply a chip and air intake and i ran a 14.3 at the track. I was not running anywhere near 22psi. More like spiking at 18psi. And that was with the 100% stock exhaust. Im not saying that the scion Xa is a bad car or not built well but as far as fast compared to the GTI......well i gotta defend my old car.

Also, and I'll say it again, smaller cars feel like they handle better because they are easier to drive. Almost like driving a go-cart.

I never raced it against an F body, but I have beat Gt's in it.

They'd get eaten up on a larger autocross course, and especially the road courses.

Exactly like a go cart. Plus you can do lane changes type stuff faster. The wider high speed cars can't do those as fast.
Oh yeah, higher ratio steering too, you don't have to rotate that steering wheel any faster. I sorta wish my Z06 had the same steering wheel and ratio as my old '99 Z28. I have to serious whip that sucker around to screw it around the slot car type roads out in Albuquerque. That and the wheel is to thick.
Oh yeah one other thing. You don't give a crap rubbing a curb at 35 mph in a small car so you are willing to try some much crazier stuff in them. I just don't feel comfortable doing the same thing in the wide and long *** cars. I couldn't image trying to whipping a Viper or Lambo around like a Evo etc.
So Viper guy how's the interior on the Viper, I bought a Z06 instead of a 2002 Viper because I didn't want a car without a HUD. Should I buy a Viper next compared to the C6 interior with it steering wheel controls and its auto start stuff???
I'm a sucker for accessories...
