GT 500 vs STS LS1 Camaro

From what I have seen, unmodded GT-500s are too slow for what they are (500hp super car). They are too heavy and the tires are too skinny. Here at the track I have seen two different gt-500s run. Neither was faster than 13.5. One had nittos aired down to 20psi too. The track has a 3075ft altitude though. My STS Camaro @ 8psi and 3775lbs went 12.0 @ 120 with a crappy 2.0 60ft time the same night that one gt-500 was running mid 13s in the low teens. I am not saying it isn't a great car, just too slow in stock form. These things are begging to be modded, then watch out everyone.

thanx peeps. it was my night and it was a good one. he got his.... but he was stock and i had mods. but it's still a lot more expensive than mine

The cars are no joke. They haul their weight pretty damn well. Original poster has a fast car.
