With full exhaust,CAI and tune he would still fall short of a well driven C6....If the Cobra was loud as he described then the Cobra had at least exhaust done which is faster than stock...............I call

Give it a rest . . . This thread is called 'Street Racing & Kill Stories', not 'Street Racing & Kill Stories Debate'. If you think the story is a lie, don't reply and let the thread die. I guess anything can happen on the street. You have an LS6 intake,tune,mid-pipe/catback,CAI, and Shorties..........All that adds up to about 30-40rwhp tops!!!
An LS2 with that setup with LT's instead of Shorties would net about 40-50rwhp Tops!!!
You need a good 380-400rwhp to keep up and beat a C6 or a intake/exhaust Cobra with capable drivers......Your mods fall short of that!!!
I guess thats why you are getting doubts.

Lofty claims of beating the cars you did. A C6 and a terminator even stock that got the jump.Thanks for sharing your mods...
And one more thing...
You said you own your car alittle over a year? maybe the guy or gal that ownd it before you put a cam in it or maybe even heads? Maybe thats how your car runs so strong? I'm new to ls1 but aren't there cams that add hp's that sound pretty much stock? Anyhow maybe its just a freak and you caught them off guard, I say good kill but i'm more of a see it to believe it kind of guy

I'm taking my car to the track tomorrow for the first time since I bought it. I have an A4, FIPK intake, ORY, LM, & a chip.
Can a barely modded ls1 beat a cobra and c6??? Now we'll be able to settle this...
