first death in a long time i know this sounds bad, but i was taken down by a civic hatch. this guy had a built motor with a big turbo and so on. it didn't even sound like a damn vehicle more like a jet. anyway about 20 or so people met up all ricers and then me and my buddies GTP. this guy was treated like god by all the ricers because his car was so fast. well a couple of cars raced in front of us and then we lined up from a 40 roll (terrible spot for my A4), so we go and it takes me a second to get into my power range, he gets a two car jump. i played catch up and reeled him, im within 2 feet of his bumper by now, but i had to jump in behind him to avoid the cars who had just raced who had gotten over into my lane. we flew past them, now i'm dead on his bumper, jumped back into my lane and was ready to pass, his brakes light up, he's done and takes the win. word is passed around that cops are around, we head out. very frustrating when you're about to pass and they brake. but i must give him credit he took me for a ride in it later and it is stupid fast. i am going to get a rematch from a lower roll, i know i will get him then. pride somewhat damaged

I raced a gutted Hatch about a month ago and he pulled me pretty good. He had a built motor with a T-66 turbo. He put down 370whp. That car is pretty damn fast. I feel your pain man.

Not trying to be a dick here but why is it in the STi thread everyone talks about how the STi should go from a roll he would get his *** kicked. And here I here nothing but going from the digg and the civic would get it's *** kicked.

Good death, I know alot of people hate to get takin down by a civic or any kind of import but it happends. Rare, but possible. I see in your sig you have no gears, stall, or LT's. I presonally think he will get you until you add some mods to your car. Some LT's, stall, and gears should do the job. Good luck!
yah never agree to take a turbo car that weighs like nothing from a roll. Especially if THEY pick the roll. Thats obv. that is their sweetspot....from a roll, a turbo car takes no time to spool what so ever...it has instant power almost
its different if you get beat by a import, and he respects you which is how it sounds in this case. When it pisses you off is when you get beat by a import and he talks ****, acts like hes the **** etc..
my buddy has a 12 second 350whp turbo integra. Would he run me from a dead stop?? NOPE...would i run him from a roll, NOPE. So we never ended up racing

well fortunately the guy was real cool about it. we were already rolling because we were watching a race in front of us, and he just rolled up next to me and yelled 40 roll, so I said what the hell. he was a cool guy with a fast car, civic or not.
