me vs Ford Lightning So i'm on the way to work headed down the highway about to get on interstate when I see a White Lightning with grey flames on the front up ahead of me about to turn right and get behind me when traffic clears. I pass and we make eye contact and he pulls out and proceeds to follow me one mile to the interstate. We bear on and are going about 60 (still behind me) when I see him come up really close to my rear end. I wait till we get a clearing in traffic and ease over into the center lane. I see him coming at this point, I kick it in 3rd from about 65mph and he straight walks me like I was in 6th gear! I don't even make it to 100mph before he is 3 car lengths ahead. As he passed I noticed a plexiglass back window with a rollcage coming out of it....hummmm. I get to work and tell a couple of guys about the race and get asked these two questions: Was it white with grey flames? Did it have a plexiglass back window? Then I found out the truck has nearly 700rwhp and runs 6.9 in the 1/8th. Now my feelings weren't hurt again. Sorry for the length of this story, I felt that I had to give all the details on this one.
