Well then the outcome of the race with the TL sounds about right. I'd imagine the GS-R would be trapping 96-97mph tops, and putting down 170-175whp, so the race with that one sounds about right too.

Thats what they are rated for at the crank. When you dyno the car at the wheels, it puts down about ~250WHP.

Did you guys see the Horsepower TV special where they dynoed i think like a 93 Z28 stock A4 it put down 235 and had like 60k miles or something like that. The car is pretty quick for what it is. it has a straight pipe where the cats were.

Well the TL in question had those numbers with a few bolt-ons... and even a 2.0 K20Z1 (05+) RSX-S puts down about 215whp with i/h/e and a Hondata ECU flash. Not quite 240whp, but still enough to run mid 13s, and trap 104mph or so, so it's not bad. And no, I don't drive a Honda.

Isnt it also said that the 93 A4 is the slowest LT1 F-Body? Good to hear your letting people know what LT1s can do.

Yeah, I agree with that, but you gotta remember that car's target market. And they handle well enough that you really don't notice the fact that it's FWD until you REALLY push it, especially if you have good tires on it. My sister had a '99 TL (non-S) and it was, sadly, more stable at high speeds than my Mustang, the F-bodies I've driven... even my mom's old '94 Vette with the top off
