hey im not rice i would rather loose to american any day . just ordered my intake spacer and cai after that custom tune expecting around 330 rw or more but the ss had the hypertec u are correct the mach cut a 1.8 60 ft with stock control arms the new upper and lowers go in this week i expect mid 12s as i get more track time. any n/a ls any time im in florida, its all fun love chating, this week i will record a race at the track and post 4 u guys
not to beat his times to death, but the first time i EVER ran at the track, i ran a 13.8@108, a shitty 2.4 60', with the bolt ons listed in sig, minus the headers. in a stick, spun like a bastard out of the hole and into second. my second ever run was a 13.4@108, spinning to a 2.3 60', all on worn out stock Goodyear F1s. if your best was a 13.9@101, there is just something with either you or the car.

I live in FL. In Fact I ran at Bradenton for the 13.34. No lie it was winter time so it was about 70 outside.plus low humidity. First off....liek said, anythign can happen on the street...I mean...the S197 guy could have raced a an A4 crappy gear , and crappy driven fbod...who knows?......I could be exhaggerating the 4 lengths....it's all hear say unless you were there.
As for you confident Fbod and Ls owners...stop thinking the 03/04 cobras are the only stangs to worry about. The second you believe that ****, is the second I laugh at you, as I am passing you......and my wife's mach would be enough. Mach's stock or lightly modded are a driver's race with an Fbod....it's a fact.
noride - If you think midpipe, flowies, spacer, CAI, and tune are going to get you 330RWHP in a mach....you need to set the crack pipe down, and step AWAY. Cause you have much to learn, and don't know enough about machs to give an opinion.

Please noride stop dude, and periods are your friend. Stock Machs will only put down 280-290 MAX! My friends 04 with weld in flows and a tune put down 286 rwhp. As to the original question it is certainly possible as others have said, the 3 valve could have caught a bad driver or an A4 whatever. They are quick, but usually an LS1 should take them with equal circumstances, but when is that ever the case. So I wouldn't say B.S. on the kill, just the guy probably got lucky or is one hell of a driver.
