Im gonna assume you are supercharged to keep it that close? My buddy has LT's, OR X, Catback, 4.10's. P&P Heads, Crower Stg 3 cams on his Mach and we pull him pretty good in our 02 Z06 with just intake and exhaust. Dont get me wrong im not knocking you, I actually like Mach 1's, but just bolt ons and it wont be close for the Mach vs a well driven Z06, just my .02 cents.

 

My Mach is a bolt-on car (with no internal engine mods whatsoever) and I don't have a problem with keeping-up-with or beating even the new ZO6's...

 

The C6 ZO6's though...I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT!!! I raced a C6 ZO6 and I couldn't hang for ****...He seriously pulled on me like a motorcyle would...I don't know though...I guess anything can happen. What EXACTLY are your mods?

 

I think he probably means 03/04 Z06's. Which really wouldn't surprise me to much since there's been some people completely stock hititng 13.1 in the mach 1s so I could definitly see a slightly modded Mach keeping up with a Z06 especially if the driver is bad.

 

My mods basically consist of weight reduction, gears, cold air intake intake, full exhaust & full suspension.

I meant ALL ZO6's - even the C6 version.

The C6 yesb ut a decent driver in the c6 z06 should beat you as your about half second off what some of those have been doing with new tires.

Nice to see that those few mods got you that quick though. I've been looking at cars lately everything from a vette, ws6, and even the mach 1 and cobras.

Nothing wrong with a low post count, it is just that the usually super asses have around 0-250 posts. They usually get flamed to death by that time.

After they get around 2,000+ posts (or turn into a moderator) they usually start bullying people as well.

my mods are lt headers, o/r x pipe, catback, 4.10s, cai, maf, pullies, tune. and i think that is all. i run 12.5s in the 1/4 with only a 1.85 or so 60'. 8.0s in the 1/8. my friend is a great driver trust me.

I went door to door with a c6 zo6 but I think he was playing with me. From a 40 punch in second hell i shifted at 5k and so did him LOL! I want a real race one day but this took place in missippi. For the thread u are a rare mustang owner not many will own up to a loss with out 1.5million reason Like (My cold air intake dosent kick in untill 100 mph then i would have won)

 

I think the Z06 was just playing with the Mach.......are you sure he was even racing? He might have just felt bad for you because you own a ford......J/k

 

wow running 11.3s@120 with just boltons? that must with aton of weight reduction & -2000DA weather. congrats though thats moving with simple mods.
