The R32 is a pretty cool car. I played around with one about a week ago. It was kinda quick but i was just toying with him. Then i would walk right by him.

I will say the golfs are good handling cars. I drove a 1984 golf diesel police car in Germany. Sweet ride at the time it was new. I would drive for 12 hours and 100 miles and put 2 1/2 gallons of diesel in at the end of the shift. That was grrrreat mileage considering it was idling the entire time i wasn't moving. It was a four speed car with no options other than a light bar and a siren.

I admit that I like RWD alot better, but depending on the car, FWD is definitely acceptable. I used to have a '94 Integra GS-R, and it was FWD... but handled like a top. 94-01 Integras (GS-R and Type R) are generally held to be among the top 5 best handling FWD cars ever made, and I believe it. I'd love to still have it now, just to run around the backroads with.

No way when he is stock! The R32 isn´t lighter than the F-Body´s

+he had an good 4WD but that is all! Only 250HP and 236tq to the Motor.

But you can modified this Car very well, then they can go as hell

My friend has a bone stock R32, it's definately high 13's.....mid 13's w/ a good 60' mid 13's is achieveable.....these R32's weren't designed for dragging but more as a "Rally" hense the "R"32.....We took it out on some dirt roads with gravel also & had a blast.....that thing gets SCARY but it always seems that the car is very controllable under any condition.....best handling car I've ever driven hands down I took a turn at 85mph in the rain(sharp left hand turn) and the car never even skid

Yes you are right the R32 has a very Good handling!

I have beat more then three stock R32 on the streets very easy with my stock A4 and i can go only mid 13´s on a good day.

I raced from a dig an from a roll and they were not faster than a 350Z or so.

From a dig he is faster from 0-50 but then i pull away without great problems

Your buddy must have a very strong Car from the factory
