Default first new gt kill

i got the chance to run a new mustang monday morning on the way to work.
i noticed him a few cars back trying to catch up with me. we found a break in traffic and he pulls up next to me revving and giving it some throttle to get me to go. i give him a little blip of throttle to let him know i am game. he hits it at 25 and pulls half a car before my tranny kicks down. once it went in to first it was over i pulled my half a car back and continued to put a car on him before i shut down. we were still going pretty fast when the light ahead turns yellow. i was going to fast to stop without slaming on the breaks and he slams on them and stops. i give him a hook and a wave as i drive through the intersection.
the guy looked to be in his 60's which i thoought was cool. it was not what i expected. i was hoping it would put more of a fight. my buddys 03 gt with full-boltons and 4:10;s puts up a better fight when he gets the jump.

Good kill man!

Yeah, a stock S197 GT isn't much for a modded LS1. They are probably on the same level as your buddies geared/bolt-on GT....With your mods and time in your sig, I'd be looking for some Mach1 action!

and yea your pretty much right on the money with that bein said. but an S197 with just intake and exhaust and the factory 3.55 opt. will give up just as much a race as a MACH will....the stock tunes are shitty on these things, just a tune alone makes it feel like a new car!

I was just about dead even with an '05 GT 5spd from a 50mph punch... he got a bit of a jump on me (he was honking), but I held that up to about 100mph. I need some 4.10s...

My friend has a intake/exhaust, tune, with 4.30 gears 07 Mustang. I was expected a huge difference with the new mods but im kind of dissapointed. He still lost to my LS1 by like 3 cars from a 35mph roll. I was spinning all of first and part of second. His car hooks though. Even on stock tires it hooks very good even with gears.
