If the LS1 is stock or mildly modded the Jeep SRT-8 WILL WALK YOU......They are a sight to see from stop....all FOUR tires chirping at the same time, just plain awesome. Now you see it, now you dont. The best chance for the LS1 (stock or mildly modded) would be from a roll. Oh and yes theyre heavy....

I had one pull up next to me at a light a while back. He took off hard and was about a length in front when I rolled into it. By the end of first I was a half car ahead and short shifted since this wasn't a good place to really race. He kept in it and pulled ahead a half car. I stabbed it again in second and pulled ahead again. He was going all out into a blind curve with a light and cross walk around the bend (one of those that wants to win at all costs). I hit the brakes hard and let him go. Yes, they are pretty fast for a SUV. And no, I didn't use the nitrous.

i'm not sure about that. i had some idiot in one try to pass me on a city street over the summer. i was in second doing about 30 when i saw him try to swing around me. more annoying than anything else, i just gave it some gas for a second or two and juimped ahead of him.

at the next light he went on to tell me how it would "take anything" or something along those lines. i said yea, you might have a shot in the snow or something...he didn't like that too much.

....and??? Are you certain the guy even tried??? Sorry "some gas" just wont cut it with these beasts. He sure was an ******* but...why not "show him" at that light?? Believe me you are in for a BIG surprise.

Yeah I've seen times posted for the 300c/Charger well into the mid 12s. of course it was @ cecil in the colder months, but still mid 12s nonetheless.

Also last time I checked the SRT8 jeeps had peg leggers out back

Yep, low 13s guaranteed and traction obviously isn't an issue. It's geared differently than the other SRT-8s as well.

I said stock, the silver one had an intake and resonator delete. Im a member there too. It was shown when he later dyno'd the intake added 20whp. Not sure about the red one.

No, he hacked a 2" piece of plastic of his stock airbox snorkel, and it did not yield anything near 20rwhp. Try 5-6.

Sorry it was only a 11hp gain, and 14tq. Try double what you said Ive been following that thread for awhile and as you can see he has a factory freak, 369 whp stock and another that dyno'd the same day was 348whp.

For sure. Super expensive, not really an SUV at all, but cool none the less. It's one of those things where you buy one to say " I have the fastest production SUV in the area biotches "

I raced one from a dig. We launched next to each other. I was on drag radials. After that I walked it pretty bad. Badass suv though! Im sure that suv can probably walk some LS1's.
