My 350Z vs a LS1 It was a nice night out, I had my adward winning 350Z out and was cruising around. I rolled up the window because my fohawk was getting fizzed from the speed that my high tech machine can do.
I pull up to a light, with my club music pumping from the award winning bose system. I floor it from the light, Oooo the power....So much power from my new Intake spacer, and my free flowing uber JDM 5Zign exhaust.
I was sipping on my star bucks, and wearing my gucci sunglasses when all of a sudden I hear a sound.............Intense....It sound angry, could this be a supra? NO! O god no its somthing much worse......A Camaro.
I was on the forum the other day, and others like me have claimed to smoke 300whp from the factory cars with there 220hp 350Zs with boltons...
My 220hp with fury bust out! OMG my tires spun the TCS must be off! The power!!!!!!!!!
I pull up at a light, next to the camaro im not to sure what to do...Ive never run from a DIG> I only know how to roll race.
Light turns green..........we go and.......Yeah I lost. 350Zs suck and thats the point of this story

350z are no compition for ls1s.... they are a drivers race between lt1s, 99-04 stangs and srt-4s....and if its an 06 350z wit 300hp they might get the egde....but still a drivers race

**** NOOOOOOOOO, BULLSHITTTTT!!!! One time I saw a stock 350Z race John Force and beat him by at least 150 car lengths. I need to see pics and videos or I'm calling BS. But 350Z's do look ugly.

the 06 350z do have the bump form what 290 something to 300 hp. but they also lost some tq didnt they?
a 350z should beat a g35. the 350z weigh alittle less i belive. i couldnt imagine nissan letting infiniti have the faster of the 2. now im curious the g35 is getting awd. will the 350z get it? though in the 1/4 i doubt both would get quicker from awd. since i would assume that would add alot of weight to those cars.

As for AWD being an option on G35s (known as the G35x), that's strictly there for folks who demand AWD for snowy/slippery weather conditions etc... It is not intended to be an overall performance enhancement per se. Sort of how Lexus offers AWD on its entry level IS250 but not its higher end IS350. In the case of the G35 which is only available with one engine in the US, it's obvious that the AWD option isn't intended specifically to enhance overall performance as you can't order a G35x with the 6 speed manual that's available on RWD models. And IIRC AWD isn't even available on the G35 Coupe.

lol this is why i venture to other forums, 350z's arent that quick i have a 95 stang gt and an 00 eclipse gt. the stang has bolt ons and ive beat one not by much but a win is a win, maybe a car, the eclipse only came with 200hp and it was barely pulling away i was dissapointed. maybe they're more from the line tho both were from like a 50 kick
