your right. I cant touch 110mph but i can touch 109. infact i have a trap slip from when i tried to spray the car with the headers, lid, converter, without the hptuner trapping at 107mph. i think i should be able to gain 2mph with tune and tighting the converter a bit.

well if you had 2 or so cars with a 100 shot then I would think either 2 things are wrong? first you would have put more car lengths on him but you shut it down or you have a real stout motor and your nitrous wasn't working properly?

Define basic please. I have and "old" tech 350 with AFRs and a mild cam and I didnt trap 110. I trapped 107. Thereis a difference between what you should run and what you do run. Get a n/a run and post what it runs. Sounds like you are running 110 with the spray to me.

AFR 165's w/ upgraded springs matched to gaskets, Edelbrock stage 3 ported Performer intake matched to gaskets, CI custom cam, 70mm TB, 76mm MAF, and full exhaust. Sounds like you didn't know what you were doing when you put together your combination.

The bottle was around 550psi. Felt like a 35 shot.

who cant run with what i have. Read my story. I couldnt even stall cause we were on the street. This guy john ran a 13.4 on the motor.
A crate motor with gt40 heads and most likely a **** cam that came with the crate motor isn't a "pretty bad 5.0" lol.

Nice kill. I wonder what mods Z28 had.

Btw just for comparison, my Z28 trapped 110mph with a lid and a catback. So I'd probably run even with you Anything is possible on the street, but don't get used to easy kills because there are a lot of strong running LS1's with just bolt ons.

Good Kill!

I had a run with a '96 (I know, not a 5.0) that had a full list of bolt-ons and a 75 shot not to long ago. It was a pretty good run! I had 4.10, cat-back, and CAI basically and I just BARELY edged him out. I was surprised!

Good kill man.

Haven't had it to the dyno yet...Others I have talked to say I should be around 320-330rwhp. I'll be happy with anything over 300. I haven't decided yet if I should have it dyno tuned or not...
