Yeah, but it's not just distance... he was already accelerating before you were, so it really wasn't just a 1-2' margin.

 

Dude he had momentum going before you did. Just because he didn't jump you a carlength doesn't mean you lost a carlength if you both had hit it at the same time.

 

Thats true. I had waited until I first heard him accelerate at the end of the 3rd honk (he didnt jump it, props to him!) b/c I didn't want to "cheat" as I had considered a bolt-on 02-04 GT instead of the WS6 back a long time ago and wanted to really see what the difference was.

I dunno if I woulda killed him worse or not. I do think he powershifted his 3rd gear as I heard a schhhh like someon scratched a chalk board and it was a split second before I shifted (I guess GT's have shorter gears). If it had been a miss-shift or a grind I am sure he would have mentioned it when we talked. That is easily worth another 1/2 car vs my slow *** granny shift into 3rd.

Either way, it was a very decisive victory and had I would out 4th as well, it would have been ugly.

 

lol, I don't know why you're telling me "no offense." I don't know about "raped," but it would have been a SOLID victory. GTs have to get 4.10s before they can even consider taking out a well-driven LS1 on motor, and even then it won't really do much from a roll.

 

I would say 3 cars and pulling in a 40-100 is "solid".

 

Its not like stock for stock I wouldn't beat one already.

I've only raced one 03/04 cobra. The other one we just horsed around but he said he was putting 640 to the wheels and I believe him. LOL

The one I raced was stock with catback or at least thats all he said he had and he got his rear bumper infront of my bumper and thats where it stayed till about ~95.

I need a car-cover for summer camp b/c I will be working in Arkansas and wont be using the car much at all while I am there and I want to keep the sun/bird crap off of it so there goes ANOTHER $200+shipping at least.
