This Is Rediculous Ok one of my friends just called me and said this guy in a turboed miata(9.5lbs of boost) can smoke the **** out of me at a dig. But at the back of my head i can see one of these things being fast with what he's got because their lite as hell, but i dont know. Im pushing 380 hp, 330 at the wheels and 350 tq. You think i can beat him?

I dont see him beating you from a dig. He has to get the rpm's up before the turbo will start to kick in, and will probably have almost no torque from a dig. Mabey from a roll he might have a chance, those cars are really light.

yea i know he keeps talking **** to my friend and he says he smokes cobras and i just dont believe the dude. Im gonna race this dude. I was also thinking, i only lost to a twin turboed 350z with 420/450hp by one car i know i can beat this dude.
you can beat this guy........there is a miata in my town pulled 375 on a mustang dyno.....it ran a 13.80 at the track!!!!!....it was **** out of the hole...third gear it came on strong...1-2 it looked like a 150 hrp car.....go get him!!! 
and report back.... plus this guy has like 40k in this car to get it to 375+ power......needless to say i would feel safe in racing him...

You shouldn't have a problem with him, unless its a very radical miata. My friends at cool cat racing have a few they use for road course and drifting. They are supercharged, have 50/50 weight ratio, and highly modded suspension (some). It'll probably surprise you, but not beat you.

And it doesn't take anywhere near 40k to get 375 hp out of a miata. Try 5-8k.
Anyone who thinks these cars are a joke needs to turn on an SCCA event sometime. You know, the kind of races where you have to actually turn.
Better yet, any in the area could come down to the Macon, Ga Centreplex tommorrow and get thier butt handed to them by a few.
