2mph faster than the best trap speed ever recorded stock AND manually shifting which has been proven to be slower? BS

hell, dude, my wife turned an 13.5 in it at 111.XX with the nannies on and letting it shift it's self. There's no response to be made, it did what it did and hopefully, when I get the chance to go back, now with a K&N FIPK, some better tires, and a little weight loss, I can be in the mid 12's or so. Whats so hard to belive here. Just because you didn't/can't do it, doesn't mean it's not possible. ESP kills the car's performance, as much as bad drivers do..... I didn't know those numbers were so important ,lol...gawd, and I thought my 11.4 ET C6 need improvement, so cunthair close 13's (12.98) and over don't impress me or anyone else for that matter. A little embarrassed a 425 HP car can't go a little faster than that, but I understand it's heavy too. Don't get your panties in a wad, junior.

113mph is BS or show proof. NO ONE has done it stock. That puts your car equal to the best of a Terminator Cobra which it cannot do. Do you have any track info, 60ft times to quote or timeslips? Or is this from a G-Tech?

Best ever run is 12.56 @ 111mph at Atco, 1.87 60ft. Sorry, 113mph stock is absolutely impossible.

Trust me, I wish it were true. I live in the wrong area and wrong tracks to even hope to come close myself.

My 300 SRT8 ran 12.94@110 stock.
After a CAI and a t-stat the car ran 12.68@111.5 in cooler weather.

I've had the car tuned and the car ran a 12.46@112.80
and a 12.26@113.07 with drag radials with 1.7 60'. The car is 4400 lbs with me in it.

Getting a higher MPH in the 1/4 isn't a big deal , I shallow stage when I race any of my cars, which means I barely break the second staging bulb with the nose of the car. This gives a little (couple of feet) running start and can effect your MPH by as much as 3-5 MPH , sometimes as little as 1 MPH, though. I do remember my 60ft for the 12.98 run being 1.9X (probally around 1.94-1.96 or so, not real close to 1.8's though), but this was on the factory rubber and now we've got new tires all around. The car feels a little faster SOTP now and maybe could break into the 12.6 range or lower, especially with a lower 60ft.Deuccce...man, you're way too outta shape over a silly *almost * 13 second ET by one of these cars. It happens, man...to more than myself. I've read of plenty of SRT8 (charger and 300) owners getting 12's and low 13's. Sorry it's beyond you that experience at the track can equate to better runs than you've made. Next time at the track with your car, try the shallow-stage method and see if your MPH isn't higher, and quite possibly your ET may drop a bit too, but not more than .1 that I've seen. Don't call BS just because you can't do it. Hell, I probally couldn't get a C6Z06 into the 10's stock, but it's happened a few times and I'm not yelling BS BS BS!!!! Deal with it,man....deal with it.

You're all over the ET thing and that's fine. Never denied it. I've ALWAYS said they can run 12s. Low 13s is the average given proper prep (avoiding the 2-3 diagnostic shift).

But 113mph is BS. Your 3-5mph "claim" by shallow staging is the first I've heard for that category of performance. Try maybe 1mph?

Again 113mph is impossible, fastest in the country, by far. Prove it.

My boltons/3.42 geared A4 LT1 beat an SRT8 charger HARD from a dig and a bit from a 30 roll (right before I hit 2nd). That was with some kinks in it still, also.

I'd be up for that. Do they prep that track better than Test-n-Tune days? If I'm going to get my butt kicked by modded Fbodies, I at least want some decent 60fts. Last time even the AWD guys complained.

I said this earlier:

Re-read that last line...."as much as 3-5 MPH, sometimes as little as 1 MPH...". Why are you soooo adament about my track run in the SRT8 Charger? If I find the timeslips, I swear I'm gonna bronze them and fed-ex them to you overnight just so you can get some sleep. Geez...it was just a damn 113MPH 1/4 mile pass...hardly fast at all.

Yea i remember i had like 100 more torque than you. My car won't be able to run for a while. I am installing my cam next week and then i need a tune. Then i have to baby the car until i get a new clutch. Maybe we can run in late spring/early summer

That would be cool but i hope they prep the track. I've been twice now and it has been horrible both times.

With all due respect - you have NO idea why 113mp is IMPOSSIBLE for a stock SRT-8, do you? Nor do you have any knowledge of their performance relative to other cars in their performace class.

Unless you had a 60mph tailwind, it didn't happen, period. The highest ever recorded is 111mph. Under PERFECT conditions and NOT manually shifted.

Go ahead and post 113mph on any of the LX-related forums and put on your flame suit....
