Sadly, there are WAY TOO MANY of them (and ALL other rice$h!t) there to get a representative sample of how they run. This is why I steer clear of that place, and go an extra 60 miles out of my way to Atco instead. The sound of bumblebee motors reving through fart pipes just gets wwaaayyy too annoying after a while (and ALL of those punk riceboyzz make SURE that they bounce off of the limiters sitting there in the lanes free reving ).
It's a shame really, as I can remember going to that track with my dad, when it was new, for the '68 NHRA Springnationals to see some REAL groundpounders run. Back then no one would have/could have forseen this f'ed up Nippon/import/rice invasion.

.Yea I live right in between the two tracks but I work nights and my schedule didn't let me get to ATCO much but it recently changed and I'll probably go a decent amount of times this year. I want to see what the Mach 1 can do (low mileage car so didn’t want to beat it too bad before it was broken in). I agree though some times the ratio at E-Town must be 9 4-bangers to one V8 and the sound drives you crazy all those weedwhackers.

If it had a fMIC it was a turbo. This was my last car ( turbo type-s). I made 354 on low boost with a small turbo. I cant see you pulling that much unless he had a really shitty setup. ie- full cats, stock exhaust. If you dont if you dont let those setups breathe then they wont make any power. Good kill either way

That is not true at all. The average for the SC'ed guys is usually around high 12's, while turbo guys are low 12's. These are the guys with the "off the shelf" kits. THe guys with the t67 turbo's and sidewinder setups are deep into the 11's with nothing else but the turbo( no nitrous or meth injection) . If you are only nearly breaking 13's with a turbo setup, you shouldnt be driving a modded car

There have been a "few" LS1s with lid and exhaust (basically stock) run in the 12s. It's not common but it happens.

Most LS1s with a couple basic bolt-ons and drag radials can run in the 12s.

A kid during my 3rd semester had a brand new Manual RSX and Im not a fan of those types of cars, but for basic transportation and a DD, it would make a great little car... pretty quick little bastard too.
better than the POS 97' Concorde im driving for a DD now
Soon my Z awakes from her winter sleep...ohhh I can't wait.

Well I had not looked at the post for a little while, and man did it get out of control with that 25psi bastard. Why does he always come on and **** up everyone's thread up by starting bullshit. Oh well glad to see he got banned again. Thanks unit!! I believe any car can be fast, but when it comes down to it run what you brung!!!! No excuses about how his turbo might not be breathing correctly. He seemed to think he was gonna walk all over me for some reason. Oh well that is why I love my car!!! Thanks again guys.

Nice kill, I know one time a turbo'd rsx pulled up to me in my Evo and I did the same thing I didnt pay attention then he reved, I was like ok i'll run. We ended up pulling over and he was a cocky bastard. We ran 3 times and I beat him all 3 the 3rd time was from a roll since he said the only reason I was beating him was because of the awd.

While I agree with the ban, it takes two people to have an argument.
