Porsche Carrera and 5.0
Waiting at a light a Porsche Carrera pulled up. Gave him a little rev, not expecting anything, he reved back. Didn't seem to want to race, just checked out my car, and messed around. Got 1 race out of him from a 50... pulle don him by at least 5 cars, if not more... he said he got smoked by a stock LT1 a lil while back, so nothing too special
During that a blue fox body kept geting on my ***, revving, getting along side me,
Pulled into a Gulf station after the Porsche left and he had H/C and full bolt ons.
3 races, all from a 30...
1st race- Pulled 3 cars, missed 3rd, but got it into gear and took off before he even got up to my bumper, won by about 2 lengths, he said i shifted right in my power band though...
2nd and 3rd race- won by about 2 cars, not too much detail, just concentrated on shifting, he was in my rear view from the third honk though
Mods:
MTI lid, K&N, SLP CAI, QTP LTs, TSP catted Y, BFG sports, TSP rumbler, MSD wires, PTB..... Still not running 100% from header install... Tune next Friday
Thanks for reading.

Nice kill, Ive always wanted to race a porsche! I thought the Carrera was atleast fast enough to beat a stock LT1 tho? I guess not, I dont know too much about them. Anyways, good kill.

The last non-turbo 911 that could get beat by a stock LT1 stopped production in '97 (993). The 996 and 997 models are pretty stout rides, so I'm guessing it was mid 90s or older.
