never seen one of these today and my friend riden with me said these are suppose to be a lil more powerful then the regular Gt's looks like the cobra on the side but just says 300

but anyways i didn't know what to expect, it was a older guy and my car is loud so i give it some gas i see him drop down to second we're rolling around 35-40 i drop it to 2nd and hammer it and actually chirped the tires and it was almost as that mustang was standing still it i just pulled away it was awsome

a week and a half of owning this and already got my first kill

with every mod this car amazes me more

If you killed a GT 500 then the old guy was probably not racing you. If he was and you still killed him, he must be an awful driver unless you have over 450hp.

 

You beat a stock GT with a body kit and some stickers that say GT 300.

Not true, I make 409rwhp and I pulled 2+ cars on a GT500 from 50-120, six times in a row. And I've got an auto!

 

Is it possible the "older guy" was slowing to turn off? Sounds to me like he was not even racing. The S197 GTs are not really fast and you certainly should have pulled him easily but I would suspect he should have made it a little more interesting.

yeah i thought it was a typo at first, but he couldnt of killed a gt500 so he must be talking about the shelby gt which is basically the same as any gt-h you can rent form hertz but it comes with a trac control defeat switch and you can also get it in black. def still a good kill tho! so was it white or black?

 

no no no no. there is a "GT 300" vinyl kit that alot of GT owners put on. the 300 is for the factory 300 hp. I just came from the mustnag world and saw alot of guys do this. it was probably a stock gt with some visual effects, or the classic CAI/tune that those guys do.

 

he is probably talkin about the new gt 350 that has the supercharged v6 that puts out 350 hp it looks just like the gt500 but of course has different motor and sticker

 

yah they make a GT350, and the GT500....no such thing as a GT 300 tho

i didn't know they had a s/c'd v6 but i am sure i would of heard the s/c if it had one

it was a stock gt prolly with some gay stickers on it liek said above but owell, it was fun seeing his face since he thought he was going to easily beat me

 

Maybe a dealer installed package? Throw some stickers on it and mark up the price $1000...
