i dont fear a t/a or camaro. but i have a decent amount of mods and know my cars strenght (dig racing). but to be honest with you my buddy has just about the same mods in his camaro that i have in my car and ill be pushing high 11's this season and he is gonna be in the 10's. If i had to do it over again i would have bought a t/a. An 03/04 cobra would be what i really want but for my income and from a performance standpoint you cant beat the performance of an ls1 fbody for the money.

(I should know, I have a 91 coupe that puts my 03 cobra to shame in looks dept) This is one of the highest compliments I can bestow on the LS cars because the fox body is one of my favorite all time cars!!! One day I will own one, and already have the mods picked out! LSX block(420 plus c.i.), turbo, built auto! Hell, who wouldn't want a low nine sec. street car.
Thanks! It looks a little better now that I have 15% all around, but I'm just too lazy for new pics!

It's VERY interesting what you said about the fox/lsx comparison...Someone recently called LS1 F-bodies "the new fox-body..." I found that statement intriguing, and have had many discussions about it lately.

I remember back to the days when I had just got my license and those 14 & 15 second fox bodied mustangs were the modern cars to beat on the street(except the old muscle cars and grand nationals). The modern cars are now much faster as many of todays ricers (or even family cars) could take many of the fox bodies of 15-20 years ago. It takes a much faster car to hold your own on the street these days.
