wow......this thread is really entertaining! thanks to all the 'stang guys for keeping my attention for the last 10 minutes. (respect to all the cobras btw)

As for f-bodies not being musclecars......what are you smoking? I believe the '67 - '69 SS, Z28, RS/SS, etc...are considered muscle cars by almost everyone ........and they're f-bodies too!

They are pony cars. Muscle cars, at least the true meaning, refers
to big *** family sized 4 door tanks with huge CID powerplants. Performance
car is a good description. Sports cars have two seats.

Depends... the Nova/F-body weren't in the "musclecar" class officially, but the Chevelle was. As was the Buick GS, and the big Mopars. Performance does not necessarily dictate whether something is a sports/muscle/pony/econo-car. I could convert a Cobalt to RWD and put a 502 in there, and it still wouldn't be a "musclecar." Just like no matter what you do, a Mustang/F-body will not be a "sportscar." It's all semantics, to tell you the truth. But it's still a widely-recognized way of identifying and classifying cars. They have to meet certain criteria.

MOTOR TREND strikes again!! ^

K, well sorry I didn't take Muscles on Cars 101 in school, and my terminology was misconcepted, along with my false notation of previous mentioned automobiles.

You know I hear the Speed channel needs a new voice over on the Muscle Car series! Iron out some things, because all the cars I mentioned have been on the show, along with auctions, stating them as muscle cars. But I must be in the "muscle car" minority!

Good Day!

Well lots of people refer to F-bodies and Mustangs as "sports cars" too. Do you think you have a sports car? And I don't know where you get this "Motor Trend" crap from .

Well you seem to have all of your automobile knowlege like it came straight from the damn magazine. I've seen all your posts and it's nothing but contradictory crap, and basically all on the street racing thread.

Contribute someting to the board (by means of other threads), quit lurking on here waiting to correct someone when they state a wrong hp number, tail lights on yr. model, front fascia on certain years, and 1/4 times, or when by some miraculous way, an LS1 overcame a GT.

Go back to the 'Stang forums, and banter there.

K well my arguing side of this is done.

Get off my nuts, man. Don't be jealous because I good general knowledge about alot of cars. I correct mis-information when I see it, and contribute to other parts of the forum when it's something I actually have specific knowledge of. I don't know which cam will work best with a set of AFR205 heads on an LS2 or something like that, so I stay out of the tech sections for the most part. And you're talking like you have 5,000 posts or something. You don't even have 200
