Oh, they're slow...I use to own one. I was faster than an LT1 on the bottle though...just a lil 55 shot.

corrections: VR4's run low 13s stock. They are actually quicker than stock mkiv Supras(and I think they are quicker than C4 vettes, but I could very possibly be mistaken). Of course that's stock. With a little bit of money they run low 12 easily.

N/A's are a whole different story.

Agreed, but damn you're harsh on the "nobody cares" part...

They are nice looking cars I will give them that, and someone does prob. care, I am curious actually, because my Monte was not a fast car, if I remember don't the N/A 3000gt's run Mid-high 15's?

Sorry man, no hate intended. Its just that (to me) the looks of the NT just overshadow their performance. Its a great cruising car. If people want power in the platform they tend to go for the VR4. Similar to NT and turbo DSMs.

Congrats on the kill but if you actually ran away from it like you said it was either a non-turbo model or a very sickly AWD version. I've got a 92TT daily driver and a 93TT play car to go along with my Camaro and I swear my little turbo car (big and heavy actually) has competed very well against the SS mod for mod, dollar for dollar spent. Just trying to inject some reality here and mean no disrespect to anyone or their opinions.

the point of the thread was to announce my victory there are what ifs in any race i mean, you could go race a mustang with 8 lbs of boost, smoke him and someone on here would say oh well if he were running 14 pounds it woulda been a different story, point is you race what you have and dont make excuses, if it was a vr4 with a turbo it woulda been different, well it wasnt and im sure it woulda been closer, but shoulda woulda coulda, i mean no disrespect but speculation is just that...speculation

I've never seen a stock one run better than a 13.7, and it actually wasnt stock. Most I've seen at the track are actually hitting low 14's.

Nice cars though, just a bit on the heavy side.

That's fine and OK, but are either of your VR4s in the mid-high 10s??

I still wouldn't mind owning a VR-4...in addition to the turbo SS of course

I've never been to the 1/4, but my N/A 3000gt ran a 10.3 stock at like 71mph. With a 55 shot, it ran a 9.8 at like 75...something like that.

I do miss that car though...

I'm not down-talking, just giving out numbers for reference... my '05 Frontier Crew Cab V6/6spd ran 10.0 @ 70mph, and my '94 Integra GS-R ran 9.7 @ 74mph, so that's not too bad. They aren't nearly as slow as some people make them out to be

I'll admit: Mine is slow... But I love how it looks, feels, and drives.

I like them too...I still like them and wouldn't mind having one as a DD. I got really good gas mileage...still used premium though

I know my car was faster than the GS-R Integra (even without the bottle). I raced a buddies from a dig and roll and whooped him. He had "exhaust" and a CAI. Maybe I just suck at drag racing...

I raced an Integra turbo once from a 40mph roll and we were dead even (I was not on the bottle)

Wow, this thread got ugly fast!

You were faster than THAT GS-R Integra... mine was the fastest I've seen/heard of so far. Ran a 14.97 @ 93.82mph BONE STOCK with 152k miles on the clock

Absolutely...

Damn I can't believe I missed that one... A bone-stock VR4 is definitely NOT a low 13's car... High thirteens/Low fourteens, yeah.
