Nice run...I love hearing about close races. I had one with an SLP optioned Z a while back...pretty much nose to nose (in my Ex-wife's mach).

Good kill.
I have to take a pic of this guys car,who lives by me.Its a silver GT with a cobra
bumper and trunklid. He kept the gt badges though.Just made me think of it.I seen the guy once when i was leaving my neighborhood,he just drove right past me when i slowed down to see if he wanted to go.

I wouldn't mind an '03 Cobra bumper/spoiler... really cleans up the back end, especially if you dump your exhaust (which I'm planning on doing). But I'd have to get "Cobra" filled in on the bumper.

Yeah, if that was Competition Orange, it'd be damn near perfect for a GT... fully forged motor, Vortech blower, 501hp/478tq, on a safe tune

I agree on it being weak for forged.....I would have kept the stock GT hood for the 'sleeper' affect...and not the roush fasia.....but thats me. Nice GT taht is for sure. There have been a few MAChs with the Cobra spoiler....they look F'ing great.

It's "weak" because that's all he wants right now... not everybody's goal is as much power as possible. He pointed out in a thread he made (on another forum) that guys with his same setup are making 600rwhp with bigger injectors and a Power Pipe. And with a cammed/blown GT, I don't think you're gonna catch many people with the "sleeper effect."

loose the scoop (perhaps for a 'R' hood) and the hood pins and that's a pretty hot little moostang

Well the scoop is off a Boss 429, and he said he liked it no matter what other people say, and I like it alot. Gives the car a nice mean look. Might not be my first choice, but it does look hot. To each his own, I suppose. He did just have a cowl hood on it before, but he ditched that in favor of the stock one+scoop.

Let's not get cocky ... the car is a nice driver, not a drag car. He did a T-56 swap, I believe it has a tubular K-member/coilovers... he built it to be a good car overall, and I think he hit the nail right on the head

I love Mustangs just as much as you do but I'd be willing to say a Mustang could never be an "overall good car". Point being, if it handles well it rides like ****. You get the point...
