Wow This guys just gets funnier and funnier.

Your right your probably beat a lighter car that is more aerodynamic and has more power than yours and you claim it wasnt driver errror.

Oh and you forget the Blip the throttle/ double clutch/ or rev match in your lost of how to roll race maybe you should go to a driver school, cause downhifting from 6 to 3 and not rev matching i rarely pretty in my car.

1.Push clutch in
2.Take out of 6th, put into 3rd
3.Let out clutch
4.Apply throttle

Now I see what you guys are talking about. People should atleast go to a driving school before attempting to run from a 70mph roll in a straight line. If anyone has a stock C5 Z06 here that thinks the outcome of this race is BS and wants to try my Stang, bring it.
Your car is lucky to run mid 12's @ 110 with the gears you have. My 97 Cobra weighed 3450 w/o driver. Pretty much the same car but the 32v may be heavier, not sure. You will get worked by a decent driver in a Z06. I've also had a couple Mustangs in my day, both blown.

My car has run 8.3@86mph with 3.08 gears on 17" 275 all season radials. Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't that be around a 13.1@107mph? So you think when I get my car back with the gears I can't make up .2@03mph?

Where are you? FYI your fingers are writing a check neither your @$$, nor your car, can't cash.

BTW my stock Z06 did 355/349 and weighed in at 3060 without me in it.

Barring a Textralia clutch I am stock. I would love to show you what an actual driver behind the wheel of a stock C5 Z06 will do to your Mustang! Actually you may want to fill your bottle...

Be warned though, I won't bring vasoline; to give you a solid reminder exactly where you exist on the food chain!

Just a ballpark estimation. In any event he should have pulled you pretty hard by your own admission.

If you're interested there is an ongoing list here of C5Z06 1/4 times. J-Rod is actuallly a moderator here and has run the quickest time to date.
