Default Waxed 2004 Roush Stage II

In the wine country in central CA racing against MY OLD 2004 Roush Stage II Mustang with MGW shifter, Mac X pipe, Roush Catback, Intake, and shift light +5HP. I knew my stang could not hang with the big boys so I upgraded to an LS1 w/lid & cut out (See vid) Sorry its so short. After I put two cars on him I let off.

If you had stg 3 it would have done more than 'hang with the big boys'. Don't hate the car, hate the bad choice in your selection. LOL J/P - kind of.

Nice kill.

BTW - where in Central CA? - coast? that looks like just north of nipomo.

Oh, and it would have only been 1.75 cars if not for the sun roof being open.

You just picked the wrong 'stang to hang! Never understood people spending the money on a Roush Stage 2. I'd just buy a GT, put the body and suspension parts on it, and probably come out a little ahead in the pocketbook.

Not to be a jerk, but how is buying a basic GT and suspension mods 'saving money' over buying a cobra?

STill confused....then again, it is monday. A cobra is going to be more than both of those cars.......so I jsut don't get it. (terminator of course). Even an N/A cobra will be only a tad less than a stg3, and why compare a reg. GT to a stg 3 anyway?.....see my confusion?...cause I don't know if I do. LOL

I mean stock car. They make more power off the gas, than supercharger.

um... basic bolt-ons, untuned. Your point? And don't try the "you wasted your money on all those mods" crap because it was on the car when I bought it. I've said time and time again that I WANTED an LS1, but the circumstances presented to me left this Mustang as the best alternative at the time.
