well, i was out cruising in the elco tonight, minding my own business sitting in a parking lot talking to people. across the road, an acquaintance of mine has his fourwheeler in the back of his truck and decides to be a douche and do a burnout in the back of his truck. i then proceed to yell douchebag across the street and he didnt think it was that funny. he came over and called me out.... soo, with the fourwheeler in the back of his truck, we headed out. first i was following him... hit it about 15 mph, chirped a little and he roasted them.. i let off at 60 because of traffic. second run, me in front of him... he let loose this time. punched it at 30, he nearly rearended me twice, then gave me the ricer flyby at about 110. head to head, he would have put about 5 lengths on me. his truck is a 1982 GMC Sport shortbed fleetside (originally had a 454) but now has a built 406 running about 500 hp, a th400 with a shift kit/ 3500 stall, and hes got 4.11's with a locker. ive got a 300 hp crate 350 with a cam, th350 with a shift kit, and factory 2.xx gears... overall: a sad, painful raping.

 

ive got a friend with a newer desile silverado who aparently had the truck sent out and engine fully built by someone. I figured hey its a truck whats it got agaisnt a camaro. I was wrong he pulled on me slowly and i didn feel like pushing it anymore around 70 since he had me at his bumper by then and was still pulling. Its a shame but with all the money he put into it it should beat me lol

 

he spent his money in the wrong places then... ive seen stock internal silverado's in the 11's with tuning and turbo mods...

so i rode in the truck tonight.... jeeeeeeeeeeeeesus christ its fast. he pulled out on the highway and had it topped out in a matter of seconds. th400 with 4.11's and 7000 rpm is pretty decent too.... scared the shat outta me. i no longer am ashamed, that is one badass truck.
