Raced my buddy's 240SX
Hey guys,
I finally got to get a couple runs in with my friend last night. His car is a '93 Nissan 240SX coupe with a skyline engine swap (Turbo inline 6) at 10lbs of boost. Those cars are no joke!! We jumped on the highway, and the first race we hit it from about 45. I jumped ahead about a car, but then his turbo caught me at around 90, and he had me by about a half car when I shut it down at around 105 ( I would've kept in it a little longer, but we were going uphill and I hit a bump on the overpass...my girlfriend was in the car so I didn't want to risk it). The second run was about a mile down the road, and this time it was flat. We hit it from about 50, and I jumped about a car again, but this time he didn't catch up quite as fast. I had about a hoodlength on him at 120, when we both got out of it. For an import, his car sounded really nice...no rasp or anything. And that **** was QUICK. Haha. I'm putting in a stall pretty soon, so I hope to race him again with that, and see how it holds up. Sorry for the long post, but thanks for reading!
