What's an everyday thing. A heavily modded car with an engine swap and a turbo beating a more or less stock car with headers? Ok, sure. I'm sure every day there are far more LS1's beating up on imports than the other way around. BTW, those videos sucked ***.

Of course denial! This was already discussed on the supra forum. Exuses, excuses, excuses, thats all you do. Where in that post do you see a motor swap with a fully built motor? Even if it did have a motor swap, how much power are we looking at? Going to a 1.8 from a 1.6 or 120 hp to a 170. Come on dude be real. There are hundreds of videos you have not seen of this same occurance.

It's funny how other forums view this same video. There not surprised by any of this. You are just one the typical people that are on this forum.

So what is the point of this post? The link takes me to a page where I have to register to read. I'm not going to register at the Supra forum because I could give a rats *** about Supras. And I haven't been beat by a Supra yet at the track, guess there's always a first. But do you have a point to make, or are you coming to our site just to yank everyones chain? There are plenty of LS1s out performings Supras, Mustangs, BMWs, etc.. The list goes on and I'm sure that at least a few of those cars have at some point beaten an Ls1. So what! That's life. No matter how fast you are, there is always someone faster. So why don't you tell us why you feel the need to post that here?

Denial? I'm not denying a damn thing, you just wish I was. I'm not suprised at ALL about the outcome. It's just a matter of weight vs. power and mods. The point is that a heavily modded light weight car ran a more or less stock car with a piggish weight and won. So what? How am I or anyone else making excuses? Whatever dude. All you do is make flame bait and sit back and wait for people to respond. Then you put words in my mouth I didn't even say. You certainly have the whole "ricer stupidity" mentality down pat. The outcome of the race isn't some kind of a miracle or anything. I could build up a Ford Festiva and whip up on a bunch of people too, but that would be very stupid, pointless and downright just ugly as hell. Kinda like building up a CRX.

WHAT's even more funny about this post, 25 psi doesn't even own a Supra..... :p

Now don't take it personal... you got to understand your coming on a LS1 site sturing up sh**.... Now if I went on a Supra Fourm I wouldn't be suprised at all if I got slammed on... But then again I don't go on the Import sites cause for one I don't own one, and can careless about what they run..(Its a known fact that Supra's are fast, next point )

Wow! You're pretty good at getting a rise out of people. Yup I still haven't seen an import beat a domestic in my town. It must be because I live in the "backwoods"(as you've previously informed me). One question was that supra yours? Nope didn't think so. So when are you going to a get a car that can beat domestics? When you do be sure and post some of THOSE videos in the multimedia section I wanna see 'em. Domestics for life .

I been on this board for a while and I've read alot of 25psi's crap. He sounds like one of those guys that always has a story better than the one he just heard someone tell. When you have to **** people off just so they will talk to you...that is just plain pathetic. On the internet no less. And if its true that you don't own a Supra tell me your address and I'll send you a sweet little cheerleader outfit with some pink pom poms. If you have a Supra lets line'em up. I don't care what you have done to it. If you win I'll congradulate you and look for someone else to run. If you run your mouth half as much as you do on this board I would kick the **** out of your ***. Will we ever meet, much less race? I doubt it, but there are plenty of guys like me out there. Let's face it, **** talking dumbasses like yourself usally don't have to many people getting their back when the **** hits the fan. To everyone else here, sorry about the langage. I never even met this guy and already I hate him. dumbasses

I agree with db99sscam. There's always a bigger fish. Also remember, there is a mortal Turbo Supra and a Twin Turbo monster. It is no doubt that sucker hauls ***. I mean, 320 horses in a little *** car like that will get you where you need to be pretty quick. I can respect that. You can turbo and super charge a lot of stuff to give it awesome power. But remember this, Chevys have always pounded out horsepower above all the others WITHOUT turbos and superchargers. You gatta respect that as well. A 320 horsepower SS or WS6 and over 20 grand in savings... Impressive.

No I don't have a supra nor an ls1, but I respect both. But I do have a 10 sec ride. Here are some pics of my MR2 turbo:

List of mods:

Greddy t78 kit
fully built motor 9:5:1 comp.
eagle rods
race port head
crower cams 288ex 272in
jun flywheel
hks ex.
hks valve springs(9000 rpm redline)
titanium retianer
trd limited slip
etc.

There are a few people on this board that have been in my car before it was built. I tend not to say, cuz all they would do is hate. But you know how you are. They could testify, that I have raced ls1, blown cobras, etc. Went to the track on a stock motor with upgraded turbo and ran a 12.5 at 116. Dynoed 347 to the wheels. With this setup I will make over 550-600 at the wheels.

I know that there are cars faster than me. I'm not trying to have the fastest car, there's always someone faster. But when I read the replies from some of you, it's like you can't believe it happened. It's common here to see people be blown away from imports.

You know what's even more common? For a domestic car to blow an import off the road. You make it sound like there's a 10 second Honda within every 5 miles across the nation..... Yeah, ok man, keep telling yourself that.

BTW, just FYI, you actually have to run a 10 to have a 10 second car...

Fully built motor!!!! I couldn't imagine how fast it would be with a half built one.

That's a very nice MR2, but why is turbo disconnected from the engine??

Thanxz for the reply. No it's not disconnected, it's the way the manifold is positioned to mount the turbo. The t78 is fairly huge so if mounted straight, it would hit my fire wall. This might be a better pic for you to see.
