You have 480whp and trap 114mph???

I was thinking the same thing, I know goats are heavier than f-bodys but still lol.

Oh my, now I'm afraid... He, he, he
They ended up being alot better then originally thought. Have seen them dyno as much as 260whp. 13 flats at 105-106mph arent uncommon. Night and day difference from the VIII's.

Yeah, I'd admit that I would be honored to MOD the new EVO. Sounds like a lot of fun to me. I like the Sti too.

My 05 GTO weighs 4195 lbs with me in it and I need a lot more practice to get proficient at the 1/4 mile. I did just buy a 75/125 HP ZEX wet nitrous kit to install. http://www.rpmoutlet.com/gtozex.htm
I'm going to run a seperate fuel cell with pure racing fuel to combine with the NOS. I'm not sure when I'll get around to putting it in though. I've got too many other things (Honey do lists) to do first; you know how it is...

Just realized that you live in Hawaii. Completely different end of the world, racing wise... but still, the trap speed seems a bit too low even for your weather and D/A. At the sea level 480whp in a 4000lbs car would produce healthy low 11 high 10 second car with 123-126mph.

How much does the evo IX weigh compared to an ls1 f-bod?
Stock for stock who wins?
Too many variables to consider for that question?

Yeah, unless you spend the first 60 feet spinning your tires and hook up late.

There's another guy here from Hawaii that said the same thing. I believe that he owned a vette, ran mid 13s stock. All the cars run slow there for some damn reason. Wasn't even a traction problem, just the air issues. Maybe he will chime in.

Anywhere from just under 3200lbs to aroud 3300lbs, depending on the model.

IIRC the main track on the big island is slightly uphill and despite being at about sea level the DAs suck.

A bad DA will take a few tenths easy and a slight uphill will kill your MPH gains after half track pretty badly.

You know during the winter it gets down into the 60's and the car really lights up. The record cold in Honolulu is 53 degrees and the record high is 96 degrees. For us daily drivers, the heavy traffic here is the killer. Even cold air intakes need the car to be moving to work and my L92 416 seems to be much more sensitive to the heat than my LS2 ever was.

But if theres a question about my power, here's my dyno:

Well, he doesn't have LS1 or LS2 it's a 416ci with plenty of TQ and HP and I would expect him to have 124+mph trap speed.

That really has nothing to do with what I said. The point was with what most of those cars weigh vs the power they make that was what they trapped with 500whp. It would have a 302ci or 454ci thats not really going to change the power to weight of the gto's. Now it may et better from more tq but that's not really going to do much for the trap speeds.

And to add to that gt500's are about 3950lbs stock and it takes 550whp to make that trap 124-125mph and they have lots of tq with there hp too.
