I was on my home from work the other day and I was heading down Hwy 85 doing about 80 MPH. All of a sudden this little ******* driving an 05-06 Saab 9 series comes flying accross 3 lanes of traffic and rides my ***. I stay at the same speed and when I merge into the far right lane to take my exit he does the same thing. I stop at the light which is straight shot for about 2 miles. I get in my lane to get home and I am getting pissed at this point cause he has been riding my *** for 2 miles. He rolls his window down and he asked my why I wouldn't get out of his way. I said 80MPH in a 65 zone is fast enough and it's not my fault he couldn't go around. He then tells me that anything slower than him he expects to move out of the way. I put it simply okay then smart ***. We go on green and if I am slower than you I will accept that I should move out of your way next time I see you.
Light turns green and I lay into his ***. He runs damn close for a second as I spin and as I hammer it into 2nd I flyby his *** and pull an easy 4 cars on him by the top of 3rd. To add insult to injury he is still trying to keep up with me. I stay into it until about 140 MPH and finally slow down. I stuck my finger out through the t-top and flicked him off. What a bitch thinking that he owns the freaking road just because he drives a Saab. So the whole "made from Jets" remarks that Saab says where was the jets when the guy needed em?

It sounds like you were in the passing lane because it was nearest to the turn lane to get home? If so, you were legit in staying in that lane.

why not just move out of the way and let him go by. if it was the far left lane, your not supposed to cruise in it anyway. What did flipping him off prove? Road rage solves nothing.

Yeah if you're in the FARthest left lane (not counting HOV), Nobody is passing on the right because thats not how it works on the highway.

FWIW, all Saabs are "9 series" as of late. 9-2, 9-3, 9-5, and I believe the SUV is the 9-7.

I usually move over if I see someone flying up on my *** if I'm in the left lane, I like it when people move over out of my way as well if I'm speeding.

 

I guess, I dont really see flipping people off on the highway as fun, but to each his own.

Because the left lane is the passing lane. It doesn't always work this way, but if you are in the left lane and somebody comes up on you, you are supposed to move over. Hell, in some states I've heard you can actually get a ticket for driving in the passing lane for too long.

Back on topic though, Nice Kill Flipping him off may have been a bit excessive, but whatever.

 

Makes you feel better though. I have road rage bad....Ive even got out of my car at a stop light before.lol Some dude yelled at my wife. It ended up being some punk 16 year old kid so I didnt break his face. He was just having some fun with his buddies.
