Cobras are overated and overpriced, i love them but ide like to see a even race a cobra VS a blown ls1 = fair race and guess who wins, and no one say the cobra motor willhold more boost so the ls1 would still loose cuz your paying 12k more for the cobra. therefore you can put that 12k into the ls1 engine and then see who runs more boost

Never a legit argument. Stock vs stock their's comes with a blower from the factory ours doesn't. It's all good till the new Camaro comes out with the LS3 we're going to have to take a few hits from time to time till then.

 

That car is stunning!

 

Love the new Camaro but 3700lbs and an IRS.....whoa, destruction. Hope that LS3 has TONS of torque. Like this.

 

2 issues with Mustangs.

1. Every punk teenager who thinks he owns a racecar drives a fox body.

2. 90% of the Mustangs I see on the road today are V6s. Sure Mustang sales are still up... But what is the ratio of V8s to V6s? This goes along with issue number 1... Most of the teenies running the new mustang are running V6s and STILL think they own a racecar.... Can we say one wheel wonder?

No doubt there are some quick mustangs, and yes thier are V6 camaros and firebirds.

Other than that when built right mustangs are runners. But for how long? It is still a ford....

As for the ebay posts. He is selling the ford to buy a real car.... probably the new camaro.

I'm overcoming some of my cars weight with FI. Just need more power to go fast when your heavy I'm working on it

 

I was just saying...you cant throw in a live axle like the Cobra. The new Camaros will have all the good IRS problems.

jayplay, i don't think cobras are overpriced but you can't post up a SS listed by a dealership vs a modded cobra listed by a private party..... the dealership is retarded..... just visit the for sale section and see how far you money will go. lots of good deals out there...... hell theres a ford dealer that wants 35k for a 03 cobra with 40k on the clock near my house.... so it can go either way.

03-04 cobra is the only mustang i could ever see myself owning....i won't do it but i coul live with it if it was dropped in my lap.
