The IRS actually hooks better than the solid on the street and hooks pretty damn good at the track. The worst thing about the IRS is due to breakage IF it wheel hops.
All BS aside The weight does make a big difference and the driver makes even more of a difference.

Never raced a 03-04 KB Cobra. But have raced plenty of Pullied Cobras. I raced a Comp Orange with Cold Air & Pully & exhaust & ran from a 60 punch & we where dead even with me nudging just a tad at 120. Not diggin on the cobras. But my car is a Dig Car & I ran him on my motor with no spray.
I would think that a KB Cobra should have handed Nick his ***.

I think I may have posted twice in the kill section. I'm here for the info but can't resist a comedic thread from time to time.

I don't doubt you bro. I have never been impressed with the Cobra's... They make alot of RWHP. But they are only good as Dyno Queens & Roll races. In this case, You beat the KB Cobra at his own race that you should have lost on paper. I believe you bro.

KB Cobra's aren't slow. It all depends on how much boost and octane level. I use to own a KB and I never had a problem with any f-body's or Vette's for that matter. I also use to own 4 forth gen f-bodys that were all modded. I think a 500rwhp Cobra will walk a 400rwhp f-body no problem. I guess it all depends on drver. I've beating KB Cobra in my Vette when I was cam only but my car is pretty light. How much power are you making?
