Default procharger vs. H/C

My buddy just bought a 2000 m6 SS with a twin inercool p1sc,ls6 intake, mid length headers, 3' y pipe and corsa cat back. The lower end is stock and the heads and cam are too. I think hes running 7 to 10 psi. My mods are in my sig. I've recently changed the exhaust to headers, bullets, turndowns and lost about 300lbs from the last time i ran the car. I think he wants to race from a roll what do you guys think.

From a roll he may be hard to beat. he will probably trap some where around 119 mph, give or take a couple MPH. From a dig, you should take him.

If he ever decides to add some forged internals and trade that P1sc for a D1sc, he will have a monster on his hands!

I figured the car would trap really good, but 119 thats a lot better than i thought. I've made a few other mods since my last outting. I'm hopeing to trap around 117,But i'm not scared its only a race.

If he's on 7lbs you should be able to keep it close but if he's on 10 then he's probably over 500rwhp and his car should be capable of trapping over 120.

Looking at your track times, you two will be neck and neck. As long as he can shift good. With pretty much the same setup as his, I ran 11.8

I'd go from a roll and a dig and get it on video. We love our videos!!! From a dig you should walk him. From a roll, neck to neck.

You'd win in the 1/4 mile or from a dig or low roll. He'll should win from a roll of 40mph or more.

I agree. Especially with that last part.

Good luck OP. And I vote for at least one dig race. Roll racing IMHO only tests a small part of the car/driver combo. Football tems dont decide wins with a tackling drill.
