Default Got killed by a mustang

A few weeks ago i pull up aolng beside this mustang , not really sure what year 1987- early 1990's. This car was well taken care of. we are at a red light and i compliment him on his car,a nd i ask what he had done to it. His response was " lil this lil that". However there was a very nice cam lope. We drive along alittle more and i am hearing the whistle noise. I ask " does a lil this lil that = supercharger. it did . So tonight i happen to come along this mustang again. and sadly ebough there was not too much traffic so we go for it... from a fisrt gear roll . we both hit it i bang second like a **** and jsut manage to hold on for a couple of seconds till it turned real ugly. im talking 4 cars by the top of second.
2nd run. We both take of form around forty, I am thinking it muight be alittle better for me because of traction.... Well infact he does break lose , but it seems to have no effect. He stills put 4-5 cars on me . The guy was real cool , and it did not hurt too bad knowing what i got beat by.
My car gave all she had being a 1998 Trans am m6 all stock.

Good death. Trust me I know the feeling. I'm a 99 all stock m6....taken alot of cars..but have also been killed by alot. But I guess it's kinda my fault..racing a 600+ supra on the highway, low 12's S R T 4, bolt on and pullied cobra...it's still fun though

Yep, good death. You gotta watch out living in the GA/AL area. There are ton of Mustang and Ford performance shops between these 2 states that build some of the sickest Fox cars around.

Lol, I've had that happen to me too many times. I don't trust any fox body! When I go to the races whether it be street or strip I stay away from them. There always faster than they look!

That was the only street race i'd ever lost in my 3rd gen since all my motor work has been done.(11.05 @ 129 mph, more in it, bad 60').

I was at a stop light and I could hear this guys cam lope, and he goes for it and so do i and to my amazement we are almost dead even, even with my 200 shot. He was also amazed that I was right with him, we came up to the next stop light and he was spraying 150 shot, and some sort of stroker motor.

Well i guess this means it is time to start modding. I'm 17 so money is alittle hard to find lol. Even with me working at a steel plant making 8/hr 40 hrs a week . i am still having trouble making enough money to mod and get what the car needs let alone save$100 a week. but maybe i will find some good deals. Thanks for the replys.

Good death. When on a budget weight reduction is the best mod to do. Doesn't cost a thing and you get faster... to an extent. But don't worry about throwing money into your car at your age. Save brother save. Once you get older and have spending cash then burn a hole in your pocket.

Foxes are the ULTIMATE GM eaters in this day and age. LSX crowds know they CAN beat 03 cobras because of their weight despite all that power. but a foxbody weighs a LOT less then either fbod or cobra and is just the ultimate "it could be a 13 sec car....or it could be a 8.13 sec car lol." good loss, and remember, that mustang needed a S/C to beat you lol.

Good death!!! Fox are scary and stock looking too often...I almost got killed by an old friend this week with his 347stroker,AFR,etc...He was one car away with no tune and no NOS and no s/c

One day, it'll be my turn to get a nasty stroker in the engine bay

No kidding man, and I don't even have half the mods some of you guys do!

Nice death, gotta watch out for the Fox's. My buddy has mid 10 second 91 GT and that's up here in Denver , so those things will jump up and get ya.
