Default Ran down another k20...

This time it was in a older hatch, maybe a '96 or so. It was clean, no ugly body kit, one color, and no fart cannon. The guy knew what he was doing, and was way cool. But it wasn't much of a race...from about 40 to top of 2nd. We ran twice, had to let up for traffic...I let him jump first, then pulled 1-1/2 cars, slammed third and he had already let off. He said it needed tuned, but wasn't bad. Comments? And feel free to flame me for the fact I wouldn't mind having that civic for a track car...

Yea, I remember seeing a video of a while hatch k20, gutted with just bolt on....runs 13.1's on street tires, and took out a black WS.6 at a light, and a supra on some back road. I would love to have that swap for just a road track car.

Yeah, its a nice peice of work. Nice kill.

Thing is, its not as flexible IMO as an LSX. You can make it fast NA, and comprimise a lot. You can turbo it, and spend a lot making a NA built lump FI.

Or you can cam and long tube and LS1.....

The real place for the K20 IMO is track only specials. It did pretty well in the Ariel Atom, probably better than any other motor could.
