Default beat by a 98-02 gt

i was racin tis gt and we never really lined up and he didnt go from a roll. he would just go a little then floor it and then his car would wiggle left and right. now im thinkin to myself that cars got a lot of **** done to it cuz ive never seen a gt do that. everytime he wiggled id let off cuz i was scared he was gunna hit me. i kno i could of got him form a dig because he had temp plates and u kno he didnt kno how to launch his car. neway we cam to a stop sign and i asked him wat he had done and he said a lil here and there. well looks like a loss is a loss and im pretty down about knowin how this is only my second loss since i had my car (first one was a cherokee srt-8) now my question is wat does it take a mustang to be able to keep upwit/beat a camrao or trans am?

Yeah, bolt-ons/gears is most likely... and it's 99-04 btw.

Nice story, but horrible way to post it... Please stop typing like a 14 year-old school girl...

To answer your question, he probably had forced induction of some sort.

Damn dude. Tough night? Up too late?

I'd agree that the stang most likely had a power adder of some sort.

As for the bolt-ons hanging with a vett...what year vett? My brother's wife has a 74 stingray. I don't need to tell you how slow it is... do I? This after we stuck a 350 H.O. crate engine in it that upped it's original performance a bunch.

Details make a difference.

gears with street tires will make a GT wiggle..LOL

who knows..I hate it win people dont' tell mods. You were obviously respectful and he still didnt' say. then again, since it had temp plates, he might not have known what it had. LOL.
and as irun11s stated....99-04...98s were completely different sloths.

Yeah, I used to like picking on 94-98 GTs in my '94 Integra GS-R (14.97 @ 93.82mph stock )... and then I got a '98 GT . But I did some choice mods to not make it TOO bad, and mine was one of the '98s that came with 3.27s instead of 3.08s.

i would think it'd take gears + bolt-ons to keep up with a stock ls1, and cam/heads swap to walk one.

To give you an idea. My friends '01 GT was full bolt on, stage2 comp cam(no head work) and 3.73 gears couldn't pull me when I had intake , X-pipe and catback.

Wiggles FTMFW

Well that would bring ya'll to about the same rwhp, no? And when you say "stage2 comp cam," do you mean the XE268s?
